No...but it's nothing significant either way...but its probably only been 8 games, if that. I should have time this afternoon and will go back through to track, unless someone beats me to it.

Muchas Grassyass.

Anyone got the current record for this angle? TIA

~T~

Not handy no.

Zimmerman lost as a fav of -122, Bret Anderson lost as a big fav around -170. Felix -180 should have lost got bailed out. Greinke pitched a good one, so did Cahill. Those are off the top of my head. Its right around even, if Felix loses like he should have its solid.

Rondon and the Chi Sox are a must play against Salazar tonight, especially at that price.

Angle is hitting on all cylinders in this game. Salazar can't find the strike zone, last number I saw was 11 strikes out of 26 pitches, walked three batters and given up 3 runs.....all in the top of the first, LOL.

And Bud Norris returns tomorrow for the Dodgers, for the first time since 7/31 as a ~-150 fave Friday on the road against the Reds and Tim Adleman...

Was going to say I didn't know a whole lot about Adleman. Now see he's also making his 1st start since May 19 where he left early with an injury. Has made several starts with AAA.

Deferring to Biz here...but I assume no play based on this threads angle.

And I actually had to do some work this afternoon so didn't get a chance to track the history. Heading on vacation but may have time Monday.

And two games down the board...Julio Teheran returns for the Braves Friday. 1st start since 7/30...but he's a +130 dog at home to the Nats...so again deferring to Biz, but I believe no play. And I believe that's it for Friday...

Potentially half-assed Watch List:

Alfredo Simon (CIN)- last start 6/8 (relief app 6/15) - first rehab AAA start 8/7
Danny Salazar (CLV) - last start 8/1 - 15 DL 8/2
Jordan Zimmermann (DET) - Last start 8/4 (1st/only start back from DL) - back on DL 8/5
Jason Vargas (KC) - Last start 7/21/2015 - beginning rehab AAA start 8/8
Mike Minor (KC) - Last start 9/20/14) - rehab AAA start with pitch count 8/7
**Rich Hill (LAD) - Last start 7/17 - plans to return Friday 8/12**
Brett Anderson (LAD) - Last start 10/1/15 - 2nd AAA rehab start 8/8
Bud Norris (LAD) - Last start 7/31 - planning to return when eligible ~mid August/next week
Clayton Kershaw (LAD) last start 6/26 - "starting baseball activities" - who knows but you'll hear it when he's close
Junior Guerra - (MIL) last start 8/3 - 15 DL but may be sidelined longer

1st half of team alphabet...need to do some actual work now.

Bump

Chugs correct on both.

Nothing wrong with playing Nats as a fav, I just prefer playing against favs. Thx for the heads up on matchups.

Tough beat tonight especially at that price

Bud Norris (LAD) @ Tim Adleman (Cin)... both are coming back from the DL -- blind bet over?

Biz - have you ever noticed any trend regarding whether the pitcher returning from injury is at home vs. away? Seems like maybe if the returning pitcher is away (and favored), it might be even a stronger fade??

I haven't.

But away and favored sounds like the best fade situation.

As far as that LAD/Cinn game with both pitchers off a layoff, notice the dog won. Price is important, and can't blame anyone for taking the dog, especially at home, in that situation.

Thanks Biz. I bet on Cinci yesterday b4 I knew their pitcher was also off a layoff. Thought I had made a mistake, but now I see your thoughts on it and of course Cinci won. Would never have made the bet if it wasn't for this thread. Thanks again!

Rangers' Holland first show start today since June 20. Coming off DL.

Nice catch Fats! I looked at his name at least 3 times and it never registered with me. Sitting at a slight road fav at -117 right now. Seems to qualify. Again, because of the significant BP advantage with Texas, I would suggest 1st 5 Reds which also sits at -117/+102. Juice should adjust a couple cents to +107 for the dog the longer the lines are up assuming there isn't additional line movement.

Also, on Thursday I said I would do a record for the posted games thus far. Actually got busy Thursday afternoon and didn't have time. Was out of the office Fri/Mon for vaca so today is 1st day back and prob won't find the time today, but hope to this week yet.

Chugs - thanks for pointing out the TX BP advantage! I was already on Reds ML. Now I'm also on them first 5.

Good find guys. Holland a definite play against, especially as Road Chalk.

Chugs, BP's aren't that far apart, 4.78 vs 5.09. Holland's numbers weren't that great before he went on the DL, this game a must play on the Reds, imo. Straily has been $$ every game sans one after the All Star break.
