I sucked all the value out of it by taking Pitt TT O3.5 rather than the plus money but Ws a W.

Over hits again as well.

Biz, I just read this thread for the first time. THANK YOU for sharing this golden nugget you have learned and benefited from. Thanks to Chugs for his input, too.

And Biz, really appreciate the heads up on Cahill. Talk about value!

That's some scary shit Biz, I don't know ANYBODY that doesn't like the over in that one, lol.

~T~

Agree with you my friend.

Over, Milwaukee, Mil TT for the trifecta.

I I would love to read a Sherwood write up on this game. Nobody writes about shitty players better than him

Well that didn't go ideal. I should have known this but Cahill was just down in AAA getting stretched out to start. Not sure if he was ever on DL or just assigned. Didn't hear until 1st inning listening to game.

As a note Eovaldi, out through 2017 with two shoulder surgueries. Can put him on the watch list for 2018.

"Cahill will come off the disabled list to make his first start since April 26, 2015, when he was with the Atlanta Braves. The 28-year-old Cahill, who has a 3.07 ERA in 41 innings out of the Cubs’ bullpen, landed on the disabled list July 15 (retroactive to July 9) with patellar tendinitis in his right knee.
Over six minor league rehab games — all starts — with Triple-A Iowa, Cahill posted a 4.58 ERA with 12 walks, 25 strikeouts and three home runs allowed over 19 2/3 innings. His longest minor league outing lasted four innings, so Maddon said he’ll ride Cahill for as long as he can and figure out the rest after. Left-hander Mike Montgomery could be an option to pick up some innings if Cahill has an abbreviated outing Tuesday. "

The guy pitched well. It happens. His minor league stats far from stellar.

Oh I know it happens. Cahill has been respectable out of the pen all year. Just was the comment I heard that made me question of it was a DL stint or just a designation to get stretched...didn't go checking.

Danny Salazar returns Thursday after the minimum 15 day DL as a heavy fave against the White Sox. Last start 8/1.

I'm really starting to like Carlos Rodon's stuff anyways, regardless of the Salazar fade. The play, as Biz originally "designed" is, White Sox +184 (5Ds). I think with this threads angle I'm preferring the 1st 5 for this game as...regardless of what you may have seen last night...the Indians have a superior bullpen.

I'm going with 1/2 unit on Sox 1st 5 at +168 and 1/2 unit on Sox 1st 5 +.5 at +105 (since we still get plus money there.) But...if you've been following along I'm misplayed most every game here.

Anyone got the current record for this angle? TIA

~T~

No...but it's nothing significant either way...but its probably only been 8 games, if that. I should have time this afternoon and will go back through to track, unless someone beats me to it.
