dead on with ripken and henderson.

Ripken was an above average ballplayer who was turned into a all time great simply because he was able to stay healthy.

And rickey was the best ball player of our generation. No one will ever appreciate what he did for the teams he played on. He made everyone around him better by being so dangerous at the plate and on the basepaths.

His fielding was also better than most like to portray.

Oh and why was Scottie a prick. Whenever we went to dinner he acted like a total ass. We stopped going out because wuite frankly he was an embarrassment to hang out with. Never as polite to the staff or any kids who came up to him. And don't tell me he didn't have an obligation. When you live in Chicago that is part of the gig or stay home.

Ask Mr. Cub, MJ, Minnie, Bob Love, Ron Santo, Gayle Sayers.....etc

Ok thanks. Make total sense an did believe it just wanted to confirm. Not right to be that way and yes of course it goes with the territory to be polite and respectful.

BTW how was Jordan? No one would leave him alone I am sure.

yeah and favre gets 6 days to recover from every injury he sustains during the course of a game, and has 5+ guys making sure he doesn't get hit.

Ever played baseball before? Ever taken a hot shot grounder to the ankle and tried to play the next day when you can barely put half your weight on that foot? Ever pulled your hamstring and then have to go out and play the position that gets the most action on the field and is defined by having to make quick sudden movements between long lulls, which would increase your chance of tweaking something as opposed to a sport that has longer, more consistent movement?
Cal's streak is unbelievable. you might be sick of hearing it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't appreciate it. And at shortstop nonetheless...unreal.

i played my whole life and four years in high school...never missed a game.

Underrated has to be Roger Craig - they guy was the first prototypical West Coast offense RB. Guy still looks like he could play today.

this is just my opinion but, i beleive that if the bulls dont make that draft day trade for pippen and he stays in seattle...no one is talking about him today. he is not on any "top 50 players" lists.
