With all due respect Blue I think that you are out of your mind. This guy is a sure fire hall of famer and was named one of the 50 best players in NBA history.

The first season that Jordan retired 1993-94 he averaged 22/9/6.

The Bulls were a bad call away from returning to the Finals without Jordan.

He scored almost 19,000 points in his NBA career and was one of the best defenders that I have ever seen.

Off the court he may be the biggest prick that I have ever met. I know Scottie personally and he is a A-Hole but you can't doubt his numbers.

And remember Michael didn't win crap until Scottie came along.

The NBA almost always is a two star league.

100% agree on Kerry Wood. He has been the most profiable go against possibly over the past 10 years. I was at the game vs Atlanta in 2003 and was at his 20K game and he was filthy but that has been it. I wish the Cubs would part ways already.

Walter -- what else can you say. In my opinion the best Running Back I ever saw -- but in fairness I never saw Jim Brown so I will say best RB of my lifetime (I'm 35).

I agree to give Pippen his due. We rarely get to know the real side of these stars. IF you do not mind, how do you know Pippen and can you expand that he is a prick (big head or always an a-hole even before he became famous?)

The first year after Jordan left the game...Scottie was the best player in the NBA...I don't agree with that list...I've never been a huge Ripken fan but he was a hell of a lot better than most people realize...I'm just not up to debating it tonight,

I do agree with Paul Molitor, although you could argue that he was just a batter for a good portion of his career, he guy could flat out go 3 for 5 with the best of them...injuries prevented him from putting up some staggering career numbers, yet he still made it over the 3,000 hit mark , and way over...the second half of Molitor's career was incredible.

Pippen was a great defender but was he better than Rodman? Rodman was sick. Pippen was a much better all around player we know. Good question though.

brett favre's streak is way more impressive than ripken's. favre plays a position where guys that weigh 100 lbs more than him are trying to kill him almost every play.

i am so sick of hearing about the streak...he played baseball. they should never miss a game...not any of them.

yeah and favre gets 6 days to recover from every injury he sustains during the course of a game, and has 5+ guys making sure he doesn't get hit.

Ever played baseball before? Ever taken a hot shot grounder to the ankle and tried to play the next day when you can barely put half your weight on that foot? Ever pulled your hamstring and then have to go out and play the position that gets the most action on the field and is defined by having to make quick sudden movements between long lulls, which would increase your chance of tweaking something as opposed to a sport that has longer, more consistent movement?
Cal's streak is unbelievable. you might be sick of hearing it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't appreciate it. And at shortstop nonetheless...unreal.

You being sarcastic Journey? I can't tell seriously. The Hall % is nice but does not prove anything. I stay clear of a lot of Hall debates for certain reasons that are hard to prove. But I maintain Ryan is overrated.

My family is friends with the Reisdorfs and I life in Deerfield (where most of the Bulls lived or currenly live). I became social friends with Scottie through Jerrys son. We would go out after games often. I don't claim to be best friends with the guy but we used to go out once a month or so.

My wife is in a playgroup with BJ Armstrong.

Its funny, I'm married now with kids and my neighbor is Kirk Heinrich and he plays ball in front of my home with my kids on the weekends.

MJ lives about a mile from me. His kids go to the local private high school near me.

Bill Wennington and I have the same barber.

Tony Kukoc is my parents neighbor.

When you live so close to the practice faciliy it is not uncommon to know some of these guys.

Rodman was versatile. He covered Magic, Bird, and guards and forwards. Pippen could not cover power forwards and Rodman can and centers too on an accasion. Not sure he is more versitile but certainly two great defensive players.

not at all...Ryan was a phenom but should not be ranked higher than about 5 aces from the 70's, he was not in their league .

Palmer,Seaver,Carlton, Hunter, McNally were all much better than Nolan Ryan.

He had 773 career starts and only 324 wins that is nowhere near half, which is the benchmark for a great pitcher.
