Underrated Ryne Sandberg for sure. No second baseman was even close to his numbers and he barely makes the hall cause of the steroid freaks and juiced balls of today.

Over rated. Hulk Hogan. Guy didnt have to many moves he was just at right time right place.

Dennis Rodman is vastly underrated. People seem to forget just how great a defender he really was.

It's amazing how many people get on Ben Wallace's cock for his shot-blocking ability. He's a good off-the-ball defender, not GREAT, but is painfully mediocre one-on-one. Meanwhile, Rodman could guard just about anyone effectively. Eccentricities aside, he was a truly great player. I don't even have to get started on his rebounding.

Barry Sanders is nowhere near overrated, IMO.

Alright, I've got Denis Savard now. (I had NO idea he scored that much.)

Wait, not him either. I give up.

i played my whole life and four years in high school...never missed a game.
so did i, surprised you have this viwepoint about playing 2,000 straight games then. in your whole life you probably haven't played more than 300. and you were in perfect health for all of them? yea well do that 7 times over and you'll hit Cal's #.

he's a pro...i was a second stringer in high school.

ok, cal's streak is impressive but, its not that big a deal in my opinion. i think a lot of guys could have done it too if they cared the way he seemed to. eddie murray comes to mind. he played a lot of 162 game seasons...and the ones he didnt, he played like 158. he probably just took a rest once in a while...or maybe the mgr gave him a day off.

not cal though...bet the mgr wanted to sit him once in a while shen he was slumping or something...but, no...gotta get that record.

Underrated is a simple, but obvious choice.......

Michael Cooper from Lakers was also very underrated.

After Rodman joined the Bulls, he was a horrible defensive player. Decided he was going for his rebounding stats only. I can only remember him playing D in the Jazz series - and he should have won the Playoff Series MVP.
