I do like Mayfield. He's a solid top 10 quarterback.

He's not at the same level as Allen/Mahomes/Burrow/Jackson though

Obviously I've criticized Allen a lot at this site for that playoff record (think his regular season record is 4-1 but that's irrelevant)

Mayfield is 2-3 in the playoffs I think and hasn't had to play a team like the Chiefs . Lost to a rookie at home too.

Allen is more proven but at this current moment Baker is better. Doesn't mean it will stay that way though. Much more f the season to go. Allen is more talented.
But as it goes to playoffs not mattering because of the team supposedly isn't good enough Allens record in postseason vs regular season vs KC says everything.

Completely different sport and games played is different context. But hypothetically if pitchers pitched all 9 innings and overwhelmingly beat another in the regular season and then lost all 4 or more in the postseason....yesthat would mean something about that pitcher. I mean guys like Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, Greg Maddux, Kershaw and so on are great pitchers but its very important to note they were average or worse in the playoffs. And that means something for their careers
