But hypothetically if pitchers pitched all 9 innings and overwhelmingly beat another in the regular season and then lost all 4 or more in the postseason....yesthat would mean something about that pitcher. I mean guys like Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, Greg Maddux, Kershaw and so on are great pitchers but its very important to note they were average or worse in the playoffs.
