100% love how Baker has done in Tampa

Sticking it to the Browns too!

Wonder if Browns still prefer DeShaun Watson over him.......lol their dumbasses probably do!
That had to be one of the worst trades in NFL history.

Cleveland's been the NFL's QB graveyard for decades - Watson carved his own headstone the day he got there. 😂

There are a few franchises in the NFL that don't know how to win. It isn't that they are trying, they just don't know what they are doing.

CLE
NYG
Carolina
Atlanta

Come to mind.

Imagine how good he would be if Tampa had a defense. He could get to the Super Bowl....

How many commercials was Josh Allen on Sunday night? They seemingly had a different Allen commercial for every TV time-out

Being a Patriots fan, I found that nauseating. Also reminded me of the Mayfield commercials when he was in Cleveland. Non-stop. Maybe part of the Mayfield revival is due to fewer commercials

I like both men, I don’t begrudge them making money, but maybe fewer hobbies helps you focus more

Not to mention what he’s doing every year with a new OC and leaning a new offense…

Baker Mayfield has worked with 8 different offensive coordinators in the NFL: Todd Haley, Freddie Kitchens, Todd Monken, Alex Van Pelt, Ben McAdoo, Liam Coen, Dave Canales, and Josh Grizzard. This count reflects his eight seasons in the NFL as of the 2025 season, highlighting the significant turnover he's experienced in his career.

Here's a breakdown of his coordinators:

  • Todd Haley: (2018, Browns)
  • Freddie Kitchens: (2018, Browns)
  • Todd Monken: (2019, Browns)
  • Alex Van Pelt: (2020-2021, Browns)
  • Ben McAdoo: (2022, Panthers)
  • Liam Coen: (2022, Rams; 2024, Buccaneers)
  • Dave Canales: (2023, Buccaneers)
  • Josh Grizzard: (2025, Buccaneers)

You can make the point that Allen and Jackson have better stats, but if you are in a big game, you would want Baker as your QB. I don't think that is debatable.

Right now Baker is better. Allen has been a disappointment outside the Ravens game. And considering what we have seen from the Ravens defense......

Baker is on track to be MVP.

Does that make him better?

To this point in this season he has been the best player in the NFL.

Long way to go but ......

Actually I saw some stats where he is like at the top over almost every other QB the last 3yrs since joining Tampa Bay

Baker Mayfield

2023 Tampa: 4044 Passing Yards - 28 TD - 10 INT
2024 Tampa: 4500 Passing Yards - 41 TD - 16 INT
2025 Tampa Thru 5 Games: 1283 Passing Yards - 10 TD - 1 INT

Also, 3 Seasons - 3 Different Offensive Coordinators - Baker got the first two Head Coaching jobs in Carolina & Jacksonville - Now on his 3rd different one in 3 years

I'm thinking it's trending towards not being a fluke...

Baker was brutally smeared by the media constantly while with dysfunctional Cleveland, he played injured when he shouldn't have, often wore a ridiculous shoulder harness.

The woke media drilled into the public's head that scrambling, running quarterbacks that dance in the pocket were the new way to go.

So dumbass GMs drafted that model of QB, often reached, and they often failed (Lance, Fields, RIchardson, et al).

Pocket passers that can move in the pocket when necessary, and run when necessary, are the way to go for success in the NFL.

Even strictly from a pure passing standpoint, Josh Allen's still the most accurate QB in football. The Bills rank 28th in average target separation (1.4 yards on 20+ air yard throws), yet Allen still sits 9th in completion rate over expected (+5.2%).

That's why all these Allen vs. "Flavor of the Month/Year" comparisons are ridiculous.

Watch a Chiefs game - half of Mahomes’ highlight reels are wide-open receivers on broken coverages. Allen has to consistently throw darts through keyholes to scrubs who'd be WR4s on most teams.

Patrick Mahomes hit the NFL Powerball when Andy Reid and the Chiefs took him - ironically, a gift straight from former Bills GM Doug Whaley.

You sound like a computer nerd. I watch the games, I don't care about that nonsense. Allen shorts balls, and fails too many times in clutch spots. Allen is more talented than Baker but as of now Baker without any question has been better. Allen has looked great vs the all time bad Ravens defense and other than that blah. Beat trash teams and lost to the Pats while not really looking like Brady or Montana. Yet they will likely win the division vs trash teams and fail once again in the playoffs. As weak as the AFC is whats the excuse gonna be this year?

Of course you ignore reality - clown narratives are way more fun: "So-and-so can't beat so-and-so in the clutch…" 🤡

So you watch the games? Newsflash: the Bills are >.500 without Allen. Even that Mahomes knob-polisher Nick Wright says they have "no defense". So Allen has to put up 35-40+ every game to win, which isn't a long term formula for success.

But even after all that...on the rare occasion Allen loses? It's by a hair. Playoff drama breaking your poor Bills heart again? Perhaps, but at least it's really close - unlike your takes.

How about instead of "comparing Allen to flavor of the Month/Year"...you ask your management to start drafting real talent giving him some support, like the Chiefs and Eagles. Because you'll never draft a better QB than Josh Allen - never.
