What if these other fundamentalist countries were like Israel? Would we be having this discussion? No, of course not. The US and Israel are fighting dictatorships and a murderous ideology that's main crime is they suffocate their own people. Most are ordinary people who I would like to see freed, because it would be good for both us and them, as free societies are not likely to foment radicalism and train nutballs to hijack planes and fly them into our buildings.
I am not the biggest fan of religion. I don't like doctrines that are interpreted by ordinary people that are used to tell us how God thinks we should live. But I do believe in a code of morality. And hatred toward Muslims is not part of that code. I'll make it simple for ya fella. Any Muslim who doesn't wish to see the United States consumed by a ball of fire is an ally of mine.

btw, as you know, i fully support Israel's right to exist and both appreciate and understand the need for them to have some sort of protectorate (USA and some Euro nations) as they're surrounding by folks that don't particularly like them. I just also see they don't particularly like the folks around them and believe this is a lose-lose situation all around with no easy solution in sight. You routinely disparage Iran but the fact is they've not invaded a country since the 1700's which is certainly not something either the USA or Israel can say.
This issue of Islamic terrorism lies strictly in lack of education, innovation and poverty. Sure there is rich terrorists who take up causes but the vast majority are poor and uneducated. The vast majority of Muslims are peaceful, scratch that, overwhelming majority. Thats the rub. You can find literally just as equal disturbing passages in the Old Testament that say very similar thing about killing non believers in the like and i know because i have read it. I have read some of the Koran, but from what i have came across it appears similar to the Bible. You have been on record here at some point saying you never read the koran but you have read books by ex Muslims condemning the religion. That's about as close minded as it gets. Now lets spin this. If we were dirt poor and all we had was barley enough to eat no jobs, no education and the Bible, what do you suppose would happen? Would you think its possible that a very small minority might take the book literally? Of course they would, its an absolute mathematical probability.
The Bible clearly tells to kill others who dont believe in that God... but i dont see you doing it? Just as i dont see the vast majority of muslims doing it either, yet your constant throbbing for the religion's population persists. I personally have no use for religion and that one in particular is one that holds people back, mainly women... but i dont hate the people. You do and you dont even know why? If 98% of the muslims are good people who all want what we want, then why hate them? You have never read the book, but will defend your book that clearly says the same things but wont act upon it because you have an education and a good life. Its about as hypocritical as it gets.

They also don't want to mention that Islam is a fascist ideology, there is no separation of church and state in Islam. The goal of Islam is Sharia Law for all, to state otherwise is to lie.
