This passage is talking about what is equivalent to our Supreme Court of the land, and those that refuse to abide by the decisions of the court. Not only is this not talking about killing non-believers, it's talking about Jews killing Jews. OMG.

Let's start with Deuteronomy 17:12 which Zit believes is like the US Supreme Court when, in fact, it tells you if you don't listen to your minister or obey your priest you're committing a sinful act in front of god and shall die. (they had the supreme court right after christ, no?).
Personally, When I read this passage it's all about justice, eh...??

and we'll take the other passage Deuteronomy 13:13-19 which clearly states that if someone worships "other gods" you not only need to kill them but you've got to kill the inhabitants of their town and burn it down as an offering to YOUR lord.
