Agree with some of these, specifically Pink Floyd, the Beatles (good but def overrated) and the Doors. God the Doors are awful.

Another one is Radiohead IMO. Good but not great, as they are touted.

i have to disagree with the beatles the beatles and the beach boys ruled the 60s.but brian wilsons' pet sounds pet sounds was legend.

Good thread. You really get a sense of someones personality by the bands they like and dislike. I totally agree w/ some of you and think many others of you must be tone deaf and don't get "it".
