I didn't like him as a senior at Stanford, the first time I saw him my phony radar went up the same way my Bill Clinton phony radar went up.
Doesn't man I don't think he's a good golfer, he is, I just don't like him.
OJ ran a great football, doesn't mean I like him, Bonds hit a baseball 450 feet, he was a good baseball player, doesn't mean I like him.

Tiger dominat(ed), past tense, he'll never dominate again, doesn't mean he can't win the 2012 Buick Open, just won't dominate again.
He's not a top ten golfer anymore, and the ranking will more than likely slip towards the 20 number before it nears the 5 number.

oh yea, my phony radar goes up every time i hear Jim Calhoun talk, doesnt mean i dont think he's not a good coach.

He has 20 more years of competitive play ahead of him, less than 15 years in. How he is done is hilarious.

He can make 5 comebacks.

There you go.
Just because one doesn't like a particular athlete, doesn't mean he can't give them their due for what they've done.

He can, but it's doubtful, his mind is shot, his leg is shot, his swing is shot...........

If there is somebody else who can take over the game of golf, please let me know who it is???

Come on, there will be somebody, there always is, in every sport.

In the 40's we heard, "there will never be a dominating home run hitter like Ruth"
Then came Teddy Williams.

In the 50's Duke Snider hit well over 300 homers in that decade, then Mickey came, Mays, Killer hit 400 homers in the 60's then Schmidt in the 70's then Big Mac, Bonds.............

Don't say we'll never see a player again dominate so and so sport again, when every generation has one.

I dont care what happens in sports 40, 50, 60 or 70 years from now. I'll prob be dead by then. I want to see the greatest golfer to ever play start doing all the great things that he has proven he is capable of doing, and in the last few year its also been proven that nobody else can come close to what he has done. Not one single golfer can even maintain the ever changing and questionable #1 ranking, if that doesnt tell you how open the door is for tiger to regain his spot in golf, then you have a blindfold on.

Give the guy some time, another year or maybe even two years. I hope it doesnt take that long, but it might. Either way he would still be way ahead of the pace set by jack becaus where Tiger is in his career to this point, blows jacks career away (with all due respect to jacks career)

Tiger screwed his world up and now he is pissed off at everybody. Give the dude some time. Everybody has unreal expectations for Tiger because of what he has done so far. He prob isnt going to do what he has already done, that doesnt mean he wont "dominate" golf. He only has to do about 15% of what he usually does to "dominate" again, because like i said nobody else is good enough, or knows how to do what tiger has done.

Dont forget the guy is also going through a swing change. Bad timing? Maybe, but I'll bet you he knows if it was a good choice or not a hell of a lot better than we do. And Jack seems to think the same way.

None of us know really know shit about Tiger Woods and Tiger prob will never let us know anything about him. But the guy doesnt make excuses, and over the course of his career he continues to prove people wrong.

Dont forget, as bad as he's playing he is still playing pretty fucking good in the tournys that matter. Thats scary for the rest of the field

Sure, look at Jason Giambi, once the most feared slugger in any line up, can still hit 3 home runs in 3 at bats in one game. (like last night)
Just like Tiger can put together 3 solid rounds in a tournament.
But Tiger is closer to Giambi than say Joey Votto if you get my drift.

You just compare Tiger Woods to Jason Giambi??
Thats stupid. Giambi was once a good hitter and thats it, in his sport.
Tiger is the greatest complete golfer that has ever played his sport (he hasnt broke jacks record, but up to this point in tiger career, he is above jacks pace)

Bill, stick to the Uconn athletic program. Your pretty good with them

Right now, Tiger isn't even Jason Giambi. He's Kerry Wood.

Tiger Woods WAS a great golfer. He sucks now. The question is whether he'll be back ... and I doubt it.

Now if other people think he'll be back ... ok ... whatever. Nobody KNOWS ... and since we're all guessing, there shouldn't be any debate.

yea, he sucked for 9 holes at sawgrass. but he finished 4th at the previous major. Who is your favorite golfer? and if they finished outside of 4th at the masters, does that mean they suck too?

The Masters is the one course where Tiger has a distinct advantage over the field .. because he's played there more than most golfers ... if we exclude old farts who have no shot.

As for your question ... Yes ... like Ricky Bobby said:

"If you ain't first ... yer last!!!!!!!!!

Wake me up when Tiger wins a golf tournmament.

My favorite golfer today is Lucas Glover +115 over Hunter Mahan ... he's kicking ass

My favorite golfer yesterday was Ben Crane ... he sucks as much as Tiger.

I am thinking of making Brandt Snedeker my favorite golfer this afternoon.

Tell me about it .... in 2003, after Grady Little blew Game 7 against the Skanks, I literally didn't get out of bed the next day until 4 pm ...

As for Tiger ... when he makes people money by winning something, then he'll be everyone's favorite.

Right now, he's screwed over 150 women ... and tens of thousands of losers who actually put money on him.

yea, toms doesnt have to go low today, but he does need 4 under or so...i dont think kuchar is going low though. never know. i have toms to win it, so i'm riding him again.

red sox: they had an asian pitcher that always got rocked one year. i dont remember who it was, but he pretty much blew the game for the red sox, i dont remember who the batter was either, but it was against the yanks. it may not have been game 7
