Oh I’m a hair dresser now .
Thats good to know .
where do people get this stuff

Maybe I'm confusing you with another poster, but no worries

Looks like Davis didn't play today , I took a look earlier and he wasn't in the game in the 7th.

I can see chop getting a hit once out of 58 at bats if he was a high competitive player in Texas/ Louisiana.

i think I am better than some division 1 athletes in my prime.

I think about half of those at bats would be strikeouts though

That sucks. I wanted him to go hitless for 3 years.

That's not realistic he'd be released long before that would occur, this is a guy that had a 53 hr, 138 rbi ( or something very close to that) season not too many years ago, a record setting .168 last year. Looks like a guy that has no chance of ever returning to his glory days, but plays for the perfect team to not get jDFA'd. He had to get a hit eventually, nobody in MLB is that bad, he might only manage a pitcher like .150 but with power, he still put up something like 18 hr with a fair amount of rbi's in his .168 season. A season+ long slump is epic !

Different bars and restaurants in Baltimore are offering open bar for a couple hours and free food during different time periods the day Davis gets a hit, lots of indulging today I guess

2-3 with 3 RBIs. A double and a single. Now watch he's gonna hit like .600 over the next 3 months
A bit strong there, .600 over a few months, has that ever even been done by an everyday player ? That would be say a good 200 at bats

One good game after so much futility doesn't transform into Ted Williams and a half

Actually wound up 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs, batting average going from zero to .079 in a single game, he'll likely be hot now but not
.600 hot for 3 months, he'd be a good risk on some 5D type prop bets over the next couple of days anyway, you can't put a ton on them but there could be some value there.

I know, it wasn't a serious thought. It was being sarcastic. I do honestly think he will have some good games coming up. I would expect him to have 5-10 hits a week in the next month or so probably

I don't quite understand how that would work, typically games start around 7 pm which would make it 10 pm for those in the East if the Oreos were in a West coast city, no way to reliably predict when the hit comes

It's really more like a happy hour sort of promo, designed to increase business volume and profits ultimately while giving your customers some value, eh ?

Davis was more valuable for such things while on the streak, I'm he drew people to the ballparks to see this bit of baseball history in person, this record is unlikely to be broken.
