The Lions are without their best weapon in RB Kerryon Johnson and banged up at several key defensive positions that the Giants will look to exploit. This line should have been more like -3.5 to -4 range.

The Giants are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games, and I think Saquon Barkley will have a big game against Detroit's vulnerable run defense. Look for the Giants to bounce back and possibly pull the outright upset.

The Lions defense has gotten gashed by the run this year, giving up at least 110 rushing yards in every game and 336 yards combined in their last two. The Giants have a great weapon at RB, of course, which will help keep this game close. The Giants are second to last in fumbles lost on offense, while the Detroit defense has the most recoveries, and that fumble luck should regress at some point. I also think we could land a backdoor cover if needed, especially after the curious trade of Quandre Diggs.

The Giants have covered eight of their last 10 road games, but I’m not messing with the side in this game just because the Giants have so many injury issues. However, the total going Over makes sense, and it’s not just because all three of the Giants' away games have gone Over, or that the Giants lead the NFL with 18 giveaways, giving opponents short fields to work with. No, the main reason is both defenses are terrible, especially Detroit’s which allows 428.7 yards per game. Only the Bengals allow more. Just the Over.

So....the Colts are for real.
I can't back myself up in my terrible plays oppo the Frank Reich machine unneeding of Andrew Luck. At most every turn I have looked for a spot to fade Indy in lieu of the off-season surprise. After last week's full game and defeat of Houston they are on the inside track for the South title.
The Broncos fit the bill for a fantastic spot to defeat KC at home last Thursday with Mahomes gimpy, thr Chefs off 2 bad losses, and the Mile high air on a very short week. The Broncos proceeded to lay an ABSOLUTE egg on offense against a KC defense that ranks far below a standard for such a spot. Indy should be able to really frustrate Flacco and his stagnant offense. Fangio has had closer to 10 days to exemplify his defense in preparation for the Brisset led Colts
