How embarrassing for Ohio State. They hold a rally for Meyer, started by some fan in South Carolina, and they get all of 100 people to show up. That tells me that the vast majority of Ohio State fans could care less about Meyer and whether he goes or stays. That rally sure did not do Meyer any favors. The father of Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott was there to support Meyer. The same Ezekiel Elliott that was suspended for 6 games by the NFL for Domestic violence, while he was at OHIO STATE. Sad. And the drunks that did show up at the rally blamed ESPN and the SEC for all of this.
I disagree. Meyer is just the CEO of the team. Ryan Day is showing flashes of brilliance as a coach. Meyer suspended will galvanize this team. Schedule too easy except at Penn St. Lions may have defensive issues. At Mich St, Bucks win. If Michigan jells into a good offense and stays healthy they could be a problem at end of season. Other than that, clear sailing. Watch out for Haskins at QB, he is the real deal.
The real question is can Day, Wilson, and Schiano all get along without Meyer there? Both Wilson and Schiano skipped over for intrim coach because they both have baggage.

Coach I hope he is fired and disappointed it did not happen already. IMO the bottom line is he lied, he could have said numerous things in response but he lied. Speaks to the mans character. Unfortunately for you , there will not be a "lost decade" lol no offense but Florida is not Ohio State.. history tells us they will be fine with out him as they have been after every other coaches career.

I am hoping Michigan finds it's offense before their Big10 schedule starts. If healthy, Michigan can beat OSU at the Shoe if Patterson & Co. find some offense.

Ohio State does not seem to be in any hurry to resolve this matter. This Investigation Committee has not talked to anyone of importance as of yet. They have not talked to the principals involved, the coaching staff and their wives, the athletic department, and the school Administration about any of this. Their self imposed two week deadline does not seem to matter to them. Very strange indeed.
It seems very odd that this story is just dragging on with no apparent attempt to get to the truth being made. I get this feeling that Ohio State is looking for the easiest way out. If that means suspension, so be it. if that means termination, so be it. Meyer will get some sort of punishment. You can put the mortgage on that. Ohio State is just waiting for their informants on the NCAA level to tell them what to expect if they act a certain way. Meyer is going to be cut down to size, no matter what people think. That is the way the NCAA wants this to go down. If Ohio State refuses to do it, they will, and they will also take A.D. Gene Smith and the Ohio State Football Program with him.
This is ridiculous. All this bullshit keeps coming out. Frankly I don't care if courtney smith's mother in law or mother don't believe her. I don't care if she said i'm taking the whole program down with me. The fact of the matter is that if her text messages are truly correct then we know for an absolute fact that this coach abused her and that urban's wife knew about it, which means urban knew about it. He won't get fired for it even if he should but those are the facts. Ohio fans can try to soften it as much as they want by making the wife look like an asshole and maybe she is, but her texts clearly show that he was abusing her and in my mind there is zero chance urban didn't know it too. With that said the schools "investigation" is pathetic. They haven't talked to a single person thats involved in the ordeal. That seems like that might be important if you're trying to find out the truth.
