wow and you really think what you said about pot is true.man how long have you been smoking dude.you really think coming to work having smoke pot is ok?? yes this is 2016, but that still does not make it ok............

you asked. I told you my thoughts on it.

Just going to tell you right now....well maybe not in north carolina, but more people smoke weed than you think. That soccer mom, or that politician or that judge or lawyer or doctor. Yeah. You also would be surprised to believe a lot more people choose to smoke before they go to work than you think. Lawyers, doctors, politicians..... they do it too. Not just nfl athletes.

ok?

Do you know why marijuana is even illegial in the first place? Bunch of dumb asses pumped 100 joints per minute into some monkeys... monkeys ended up dying. Well when you put a gas mask full of weed smoke OR ANY smoke for that matter on a monkey and pump 100 joints into them without giving them air to breathe....they will die. LOL. That is why marijuana is illegial. Because of some idiots in the 1930's. The 1930's.

There hasn't been one person die from smoking too much weed on the face of the planet. do I think it is cool? No. I think it is the drug of choice now. For good reason. I know people who have been addicted to pills and alcohol. It is a bad thing. Very bad thing.

MD if you owned a business would you like your workers coming in screwed up on pot .or do your thinking they will do better work smoking pot

You are all over the road

MD correctly notes that at least 1/3 and up to 1/2 of NFL players are regular users of cannabis.

It is reasonable to state that they do not consume while on the job, but only after games and in their time off -- pretty much the same way the other approximately 30-40 million American cannabis users roll.

This is probably not the best topic for you to be commenting on given your lack of knowledge about cannabis and it's use.

Now if we were discussing harder, more addictive drugs like alcohol you would be far more knowledgeable.

Again, you are showing your ignorance of how millions of Americans responsibly use cannabis.

Take a ride thru Silicon Valley or a walk thru the IT Dept at most any major business and you will observe over 50% of the workers doing tremendous work with active cannabis use in their system.

Most high tech computer programmers and other creative arts workers consider marijuana as much a dietary mainstay as non-cannabis users would view vitamins & food supplements.

You should probably bail from this thread right now.....no shame or dishonor, you are just out of your league. Hit the Eject button and parachute safely into a different thread

I am for legal weed. But let us not pretend it does not have large negative effects on lives to go along with any positive effects. Higher drop out rates for weed users, higher abortion rates for weed users, lower income from career, slower progress in career, higher non-drug related crime arrests for weed users, higher rates of teen pregnancy for weed users, and on and on and on and these are statistical facts not anectodal evidence or opinion. You can be a functioning user of pot and in some cases usage of pot may actually be a great benefit for a particular user beyond the traditionally accepted medicinal uses but there are a lot of people who really lose their way with it (though some of that revolves around it being illegal to begin with).

The bigger problem in regards to Tunsil is that he made a terrible decision to continue to use it when he had millions of dollars at stake. Just take a break and live without it for awhile .. Get drafted in the top 3 and move on with your life.

No doubt but all of those negative things comes with any drug, especially when it is abused. I hate those statistics because you don't know what else is going on in someone's life. They may be smoking the weed to help cope because some kid got touched up by a teacher which is the real problem. What I am saying is, there are other factors bigger than some weed that happen in life that make the kid who they are. Weed isn't the gateway to all of those things. People are. Any time you make a decision in life you have consequences. If you sit around and watch tv all day but not smoke you aren't going to find a job either and in return you probably aren't preparing yourself for a career in whatever you are doing. So slow progression will naturally occur due to lack of preparation and lack of knowledge from not educating yourself. Lets not act like weed is a stunt in development for grown adults.

If you drop out of high school you are a fucking idiot to begin with.

Further proves what a moron Christie is.

Smoking pot is no big deal. Especially for a 19-20 year old kid in college. Not going to drag a kid through the mud for something so trivial. Sucks for him that someone he trusted went out of their way to try and harm him by posting the video.
