Accurate response to 919's question, but ck's dream involved jail time and it's remarkably rare for an NFL player - or anyone with access to competent defense attorneys - to do jail time related to a marijuana possession charge.

It only cost the dumbass about $6 million by falling in the draft.

There are a number of issues that might make charges impractical or impossible under the law of the state where it took place. It was a stupid comment by Christie aimed only at attracting attention. Fat man is now just a sideshow to the king of stoopid.

I don't see why this really changed his draft status as he has been billed as an elite left tackle prospect as in possibly the best LT in football in a few years.

What would bother me more is can you trust him? He had nothing to gain by rolling over on Ole Miss coaches for money. He had no problem taking it I'm sure.

The homeboys love weed. Ricky Williams rushed for about 1,800 yards while high.

He'll probably be a 15 year pro bowler and packing bowls each and every one of those years.

Dont worry if this kid going this way with drugs now, it will be only a matter of time before it bites him in the ass in the nfl

they go hand in hand with pain relief. Except, this isn't physically addictive and doesn't do harm to your body as far as your muscles. Alcohol will deteriorate your muscles. So for a professional football player, marijuana is a lot more frequent than you think. At least half of the nfl. Yeah, HALF of the NFL smokes "drugs". And you bet money on these "drug" addicts, that must make you even worse?

I would do some seeing with your own eyes before you rush to judgement. This drug allows A LOT of nfl players to do what they do. The NFL doesn't want to threaten their public image by saying it is okay or have advertisers pull out. It's all about money in the end. When have the NFL ever looked out for the players best interest anyway? It is all in the leagues best interest.

Straight up! Like I stated earlier, there wouldn't be any Leagues without it...

It's the same in the BJJ and MMA world too.

Nothing at all wrong with it. I'll save someone from saying it, besides it mostly illegal. Umm Kay, whatevs.

HBO real sports did a episode on marijuana in the NFL. Shows a former Bronco Tight end who was a heavy smoker in his time of playing the game and it shows some players who chose to go the other route and use pills to help cope with the pain. The guys who chose to go the pill route that the doctors prescribed, their organs are pretty much failing them and they are in their 40's and 50's. Ray Lucas was on there all doped up. Saying he would take anything he could get his hands on, valium, vicodine, percs, all that shit. Enjoy that. We are in the pot rush right now. Get used to it because it will only become even more acceptable in America. Just a matter of time IMO before the NFL allows it...5-10 years it might take but it will happen.

No doubt. They don't smoke during training though do they?

key word "mostly". Meaning it's legal and will only become more legal in the future. Viceland just had a legit show, you catch that? "weediquette"

That is just a question of professionalism. But nobody should go to work high no matter what it is. But if there was one drug I would have the least issue with in that particular situation I would say it would be pot. You come in on pills-- straight nodding off, or smelling like booze, you most likely will be worthless. But if they smoke weed before work, not only might the person work hard, but you might not even be able to tell if they are high to begin with.

and that speaks volume right there. Their work may not be affected, depends on the person. Weed is just as much of a safe pain relief medication as it is a drug. This is 2016.
