Okay smartass, you kept claiming the money was coming from his widow directly which I just explained was not the case.

Dude, calm down. Eat a chili dog or something but relax a bit.

When posted this story and immediately after the verdict, it was not known where the money was coming from but your response that all the money was covered by insurance may/may not be true. Fact is, some may come from royalties from the sales of the book and that money would've gone to wounded vets foundations or a dead guy's wife and kids.

Ventura is taking money from wounded vets and a dead man's wife and little kids. He's pure scum.

Once again get it right & stop making her out to be some victim as not a penny is coming from her. The insurance policy for the book is where the money is coming from, not her pocket.

See, this may/may not be true depending on where the 1.3 comes from. If from royalties, sure the money is coming from her because it would've gone to her. So, you need to get it right before you jump me.

Still a big difference versus your claim it was directly coming from her.

Regardless you seem to think it is okay to slander someone & because they happened to die before the justice system sorted it out, it should just be swept under the rug. Jessie is pure scum according to you but if proven he was lied upon, how is the person responsible not scum? Talk about being a complete hypocrite which is not surprising.

And still a big difference in your claim all the settlement is being paid out of insurance money. See how that works? We were both incorrect but you rolled in guns a blazing all pissed off and your assertions may be wrong when all is played out.

When this case gets overturned on appeal, will you still say a dead guy slandered Ventura? He is pure scum.

What if Kylie had claimed that Ventura was a child molester? Should Ventura not sue because he was dead?

There's a tremendous difference between being accused of being a child molester vs. a guy saying he punched you in a bar.

But, I'd venture to guess if Kyle called Ventura a child molester, and he wasn't, there wouldn't be many witnesses lining up to testify on Kyle's behalf.

The dirtbag lied like a punk and slandered Ventura while taking advantage of his fame; regardless of where the cash comes from, the estate should pay up. If it comes from his children's college fund, so be it.

And I ask you the same, when this verdict is overturned on appeal, will you have a different opinion?

And with all due respect, Kyle was the most respected sniper in the history of the United States Military. His efforts killed terrorists that hate Americans. He was murdered on a firing range trying to help a kid with PTSD.

To call him a dirtbag and a punk is pretty disrespectful. The guy is dead for god sake.

You follow this case more than I do. Did the witnesses say they heard Ventura say "they deserve to lose a few?"

There were witnesses for both sides saying the exact opposite.

Ventura's Witnesses say it didn't happen.

Kyle's Witnesses say it happened exactly as described.

Weird thing is Kyle's lawyer accepted a weird verdict format so only 8 jurors had to find him guilty. It was 8-2 in Ventura's favor.

That is strange. I think something happened but maybe the argument was about something else? Maybe Chris Kyle was at fault for punching Jesse and then had to justify his actions so he made Jesse out to look like the villain. Who the hell knows. I think both sides are were lying a little bit.

Kyle is a good story teller wonder why he left out the one about killing the 2 guys at the gas station that the police just happened to not report and cover up :think2:

or the one about shooting 30 looters from the Superdome roof after Katrina :think2:

Before Chuck Norris goes to sleep at nights he checks his closet for Chris Kyle.
