Chris Kyle, a decorated sniper, claimed in his autobiography he punched Ventura in the face at a bar in California in 2006. Kyle, was killed a few years ago on a shooting range by a fellow Iraq War Veteran with PTSD. Ventura is claiming defamation and is suing Kyle's wife. Think he should just let the guy RIP and pull out of this lawsuit. Thoughts?

Yeah, I don't think going after the wife is honorable. He should let it go. I love Jesse, but he is wrong here.

He's going after 3M made in royalties from the autobiography. Just let the wife go on with her life.

He has every right to go after the scumbag as he lied about the whole encounter & profited off of it no less.

The wife colkecting royalties makes her complicit in the lie. Maybe she should drop the royalties and maybe he'll drop the lawsuit. Yeah right.

He is a war veteran himself who had his character defamed. So he is wrong for pursuing legal actions against the party responsible & eventually the estate since he has passed? Yeah ok....

So why is Ventura, who has been a fake wrestler and had a stupid show on conspiracy theories worried about his reputation?

If this guy did lie and do so to make a profit, then Jesse has every right.

Ever notice how in our country all of a sudden after people die they become larger and more outstanding than they ever were.

ALSO....... I would feel sure that while Jesse would have agreed with this course of action..... Some SCUMBAG attorney cooked this up, as is normally the case.

If the snipers claim is a lie then Ventura has every right to continue his suit.

Guess my question isn't does he have the right but should he? Guy is dead. Sue his widow and her kids for all of the money they have left? Kind of a douche thing to do IMO.

If Jesse wins, the money is not really coming from the wife but the insurance company of the book publisher. For legal reasons, the case has to be in her name due to her being the estate. Either way she will be fine financially.
