Dude, this is a fucking internet posting forum. . .I could really care less what the fuck you say about me for real. As I said after I made the post that what I said was harsh and a little uncalled for, but it still doens't change the way I feel about this shit.
Are you serious right now that you are sticking up for a kid who is throwing away a great opportunity to get an education and make something of himself? I have seen this a ton of times with different students, I know of may 1 per 10 that actually end up finishing school and they finish it with GPAs of 2.0's. Just pissing money straight down their leg. Its pathetic to not be able to motivate yourself enough to do just a little hardwork to acheive a goal.
Sorry I have no sympathy for people like this, and personally I don't see how anyone else could either.
Kruser - this isn't 1935. Everyone can get an education now if they want to. College tuition with instate for a FULL TIME student is around $1500 dollars. Pop on another $500 for books. If you can't afford that straight up they have payment plans and student loans.
If you can't afford or don't have time to be a FT student you can go part time at a commuity college. Work days, a couple classes at night or weekend classes, you can pop in 9 credits a sememster and w/ summer semester you'll have a BA in 5 years.
Then theres online classes. Every college you can sign up and do your classes online in your free time. I'm not talking University of Pheonix bullshit, I'm talking great schools.
However, if you're paying straight up and a student out of state like my sister did you're up your ass at a school like NYU blowing 20 grand for 5 months that's your choice.
Anyone who says they can't get a degree now a days is
LAZY. SIMPLE AS THAT.
This guy fucked up, this isn't a new story. This happens to I'd say at least 10% of college students. If you can't catch up, I'd tell your parents, chaulk it up as a loss and get prepared to work your ass off this summer in your classes. You can make a semester up. if you can't afford it at your regular college, hit it up at CC and then transfer your credits back over. You also sound like a student who would be better served going to CC anyways as you can live at home and your parents will make sure you get to class and there is less distraction then the dorm room living (TRUST ME, I KNOW ALL ABOUT LIVING ON CAMPUS).
States such as Florida it's auto transfer after you get your AA to a state school like FSU UCF USF UF ETC ETC ETC, I'm sure it's the same in other states.
