Either:

1. Go to class and talk to your professors. If you miss a month you most likely have missed a crap load of homework, projects, or and early midterm exam. Most likely you are already failing and even if you got 100% the rest of the way you might still not pass. Tell them you had personal issues. Most likely they have already heard this from others and will tell you to take a walk but try to make a deal if you ace the rest of class they pass you... Then become the best student in class.

2. Withdrawal from your classes and get W’s instead of failing. If you want to go back to school getting F and a low GPA will kill your chances. If you get W’s and have a decent GPA you can then reapply to school next semester or if you want transfer to another school. If you have to transfer it’s much easier to do it with a semester of W’s instead of having a shitty GPA…


What ever you decide make sure you fix your shit now. Procrastinating will only make it worse.

When I was in college...I had a couple of roommates that did the same thing...took 'em a while to get their acts together...drinking and frat parties...

But it never crossed my mind to suggest they take a dirt nap because they blew off classes.

Dudeeeeeeee... WTF are you talking about? I know of at least 3 people including myself who did the same type of shit but turned it around and finished school. As for getting back into school, I think you should take the severe depression route mentioned by one of the previous posters. It is the most logical reason and beats the other bullshit excuses that any professor with any form of experience will see right thru.

I think the tough part is manning up and make sure you don't do some stupid shit like this again.
