That isn't what the difference is. Most libertarians support safety nets besides the anarchist loon types, that's a liberal talking point if there ever was one.

Just say you support the federal gov't stepping in with trillions of dollars to bailout corporations with quasi-monopolies anytime the economy gets bad for a month or two.

GOP accepted the argument that money grows on trees a long time ago.

Enfraudo made a dozen posts complaining about Dems holding up the welfare checks. Now he claims he's not eligible? Yeah right.....

In my view, Democrats were holding up the bill that would allow all of American living paycheck-to-paycheck to get paid something and live while we go through this. The Democrats added 22 items they wanted in this bill that had nothing to do with Corona like funding for Howard University and items such as that.

I don't know about you, but I find those actions reprehensible. People, both Dems and Republicans needed money and small businesses needed money to keep living.

I'll donate 1.2k of my own money to ur charity if JC promises to match.
i don't know who JC is but if you and JC donate 1.2k I'll toss in another 1.2k as well. while we are down to about 150 families in need in this area (approx. 75 families no longer qualifying for food bank over the past few years because they started making too much $) this number will skyrocket in the following month or two. The fund from the regional Pittsburgh food bank will get dissolved quickly as PA had 50k new unemployment claims last Monday alone (one day!) which is where the majority of our funding comes from. while we run the community farm and contribute all vegetables directly to the food bank there's nothing ready (or even planted yet) because it is offseason. you can see our pages up at https://www.craftonborough.com/community-farm and https://www.facebook.com/craftoncommunityfarm

I'm down. This will help. Obviously I am not doing this all for a great reason(part of it is a poster annoys me). But it will still help no matter the reason behind it.

btw if anyone does decide to donate (won't hold my breath) I believe this $1200 you're getting is a TAXABLE amount so make sure you aren't footing the bill for the tax owed on this $1200 on your April 2021 taxes. Send $1000 and hold $200 back to cover your taxes.

Is that written anywhere that its going to be taxable?

Part of me thinks that all you are doing is borrowing against your April 2021 refund as you're have to pay this back in full (if economy recovers)

I'm not sure man. I'm sure there's a lobbyist or something associated with Howard U that has a Dem in their back pocket and asked for money.

It's all I can think of.

Funny that when I made fun of enfraudo living paycheck to paycheck, needing a welfare handout to make it through 2 weeks, he never disputed it. Now that the welfare bill has been passed he claims he doesn't need it. Someone who doesn't need a handout doesn't make a dozen posts screaming "where is it?!?!?!" No, I don't believe you.
