is another perfect example of allowing govt to pick winners and losers. they circled some arbitrary number, $75k in 2018, as being eligible despite folks making 6-figures being the ones that have given more federal tax money as the fund to draw from.

plus, if enfuego gets a check i would ask him to donate it to his local food bank and not burn it. If not his local one then i'd be happy to provide the address to the local Crafton Food Bank my wife runs if anyone is really thinking about burning a check because they are too principled to cash it.

if you prefer to cash it and THEN donate please do so to https://secure.qgiv.com/for/gbfdef2st/info/header_menu_link/

If he isn't receiving a check perhaps he can just donate 1.2k to a charity. I understand he already promised it to a poster but he obviously just recently got a raise and now makes over 75k as an individual and over 150k as a family(which is impressive with his wife being a school teacher)

As a compromise Johnny could pick the charity for Enfuego to donate too...

It is exactly what I'd have done with the money as i simply don't need $1200 and I would guess many in my position would have done the exact same thing

if you prefer to cash it and THEN donate please do so to https://www.pittsburghfoodbank.org/agency/crafton-ingram-food-pantry/ or i can give you the address to write the check over to so it hits specifically the Crafton/Ingram Food Pantry

I’m not eligible to receive a check. Completely fine with that too.

He is married so he'd be getting $2,400.

Plus his wife is a teacher so Enfuego is telling us that he makes over 150k a year.

What if JC was Enfuego this whole time and NONE of us ever knew????

Loser making less than 75k? Lmfao. Wow. I definitely wouldn’t consider somebody getting out of school and making less than that but in the ballpark. That’s comedy. Harvey Updyke, how old are you? 60+?

btw if anyone does decide to donate (won't hold my breath) I believe this $1200 you're getting is a TAXABLE amount so make sure you aren't footing the bill for the tax owed on this $1200 on your April 2021 taxes. Send $1000 and hold $200 back to cover your taxes.

Plus the package reduces are 75 grand up to 95. Everybody is a loser making under 95k? Lol if the government has to give money to you you’re a loser? Lmao.

Should be going to single mothers type shit. I def don’t need it but I’d give it to some fiends in Baltimore to buy crack with it before I give it to Pittsburgh.

Enfraudo made a dozen posts complaining about Dems holding up the welfare checks. Now he claims he's not eligible? Yeah right.....

When a country is shut down and nobody is working, assistance is needed by many. Not many of us are libertarians, we all support SAFETY NETS.

When you have the greatest economy in the free world and people are working, you don't need to follow the lead of the countries that depend on your aide, especially the FAILED economic systems

And we don't support government assistance as the family business, socialists do. We believe you have the FREEDOM TO PURSUE HAPPINESS, not live off of other people working

Ask Bernie what Americans think about socialism, even Democrats rejected him in favor of Joe Biden for heaven's sake

That isn't what the difference is. Most libertarians support safety nets besides the anarchist loon types, that's a liberal talking point if there ever was one.

Just say you support the federal gov't stepping in with trillions of dollars to bailout corporations with quasi-monopolies anytime the economy gets bad for a month or two.

GOP accepted the argument that money grows on trees a long time ago. And once you do that, the mind can certainly run wild as to how far and wide it can reach.
