Grandmaster B and Phigment: I've reported this to Tech and should have some advice on firewall settings shortly.

NightHawk: I'm told that this problem was fixed last week, and it's likely you are using an old XML feed. Email support@matchbook.com or give us a ring, and we'll get you on the new feed.

Phigment: Matchbook has some structured deals in place with large-scale market makers rather than trading for our own account. Note, however, that these market makers enter their bets using the same interface as the rest of our customers. We recently helped one market maker hook up a program he wrote that allows him to enter hundreds of prices at a time without clicking buttons. But his orders still stand in line like everyone else's and he cannot circumvent the 3-second delay for live betting markets.

What is your name and email address?
I sent you an email and Cian says the link I got 5 weeks ago is the new link but you are saying it was fixed last week

I e-mailed you guys. No response. Do I have to say "RX poster" on the e-mail to get you off the dime? Not a good impression so far.

Still waiting for the 1st half over of BC/NCSt game to be graded. This is the 3rd time now. Losing wagers are graded immediately. Go figure.

My records show that I've bet 6 half time lines in the last 4 weeks, none of which were graded until the game was over, and all of which were graded at the exact same time as the full time wager, so I'd assumed that was how your grading software works.. Seemingly more of a problem than I thought though.

Tough crowd! Honestly, though, we appreciate all the feedback, especially when it comes to any simple things we can improve on. To address the above points:

Nighthawk: Cian is the right person to speak to about XML feeds, whether by phone, chat or e-mail. I see you've had several emails back and forth with him on this and hope he can accommodate your needs. Matchbook's XML feeds were originally configured for odds comparison sites, but as more individuals have started to request them, we are expanding their capabilities.

Chuck: You don't need to mention the Rx, but you do need an activated account in order for us to bonus it. We've sent you instructions on how to activate your account--let us know if you have any problems.

Ensign Lee and Money Transfer: Our offer is good through Sunday and is only valid for North America.

Tenman: The particular outcome of a halftime line does not influence when we pay it out. We did miss the BC/NC State halftime until 9:24:22 pm, which I think was 5 to 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Please accept our apologies.

Santo: There is no programming reason why we would have to grade halftime lines at the same time as full-game lines. You should see an immediate improvement on this issue.

Again, please keep the feedback coming on anything we can improve at Matchbook, big or small. Since our primary mission is to support customers as they trade against each other, we feel like you can hold us to a very high standard.

I love your place. One improvement ... If you are going to offer $50 to new accounts ... how about something for the regulars.

I've liked what I've seen so far. Any plans for reload bonuses in the future?

Commission credits are our way of making sure customers don't have to pay any transaction costs, which can be significant. If it costs you 2.9% to Neteller money to the site, we'll award you that money in commission credits. These credits will automatically cover any commissions you'd pay on winning wagers until you've used all your credits, at which point you start paying for commissions on your own.

How are commission credits applieed? When I look at a settlement report for a winning bet I see the commission fee but no offsetting credit.

Any update?

As you can tell by my three consecutive posts I am quickly becoming a fan of Matchbook.

Didn't think of that. Not that I was using this as instant customer support though either. Figured I'd just post all my questions and look for a response at some point.

Kidslick, It appears my e-mail address is not accepting their automated e-mail account activation since they assured me they sent an e-mail out. Thats what the hold-up is.
I was just pissed I was not going to be able to try Matchbook this week-end.

Chuck...aren't they backed or owned by WSEX? I know you are always praising them so I wouldn't worry about Matchbook. This isn't a jab...I agree WSEX is a great book.

Hi Phigment: Commission credits are given to you dollar for dollar against any transaction fees you pay. Once you have commission credits in your account, they automatically offset any commissions you are charged going forward. So in your transaction report, you'll see one line indicating the commission fee and another line indicating the commission credit rebate.

We haven't forgotten about your firewall issues; our programmers are so square they still think of Saturday and Sunday as the "weekend," so they haven't had time to address this yet.

Chuck: Sorry that you are having trouble activating your account. We tested the activation e-mail across every major browser, mailbox, and webmail system without any problems, so we're curious to know what's happening in your case.

Remember, though, the whole point of the exercise is to make sure we have an e-mail address that is definitely from the customer so we can send him a new password when necessary. If you send us an e-mail from the same address that you opened your account with, we can activate the account for you. We'll also be happy to give you the last of our $50 bonuses.

Hopefully you'll get it going for MNF Chuck.

In-game scalp city if it's a close game.
