I thought Gordon won based on what I know about the sport but we’ve seen recently octagon control isn’t worth what it used to be, especially if you aren’t the A side of the fight. Yan/OMalley same thing. Gordon really has no one to blame but himself.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of the decision judges should have to justify their scoring
Robbery is very overused though I thought Yan and Gordon won
I have rarely seen a true robbery
None the less judging can definitely be improvred
Getting former fighters involved wouldn't hurt
The more the better
I actually find judgng MMA much easier than boxing

I think 24/25 top MMA media outlets scored the fight for Gordon, ranking it is as the second worst decision in the last several years. I believe Barber over Maverick was the only fight where all 25 outlets scored it for Maverick, but the judges gave Barber the split.

Not that media outlets are the best way to look at it, but 24/25 is pretty remarkable. I believe half of the 24 had it 3-0 Gordon.

Could you imagine what is going to happen to Pimblett if they give him a top guy in his next fight. It could get real ugly, real fast. Gordon is a fringe guy nowhere near the upper echelon of the division.

Yan/OMalley was unanimous on press row, and unlike Pimblett/Gordon, it actually had real ramifications for the top of the division

I had Yan in a parlay with Islam.....Getting sick of betting MMA with crap like this. And I'm not following any sport that I'm not betting on.
