OT: With the MLB in full swing, we no longer have to sit by the puter watching, and waiting for lines/points like we did during CBB season. Bitching & moaning, and calling out "Chinese Fire Drill" alerts anymore.

Those so call "Chinese Fire Drill" days are gone. So here's the explanation of the term if anyone interested

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_fire_drill

Tbone,
am gonna miss those days. seems like with bases nobody hangs around while the games are going on? am bored with nobody around.

ok, that it for me a stinking 4-1-1 for the night. i have the pdws for tomorrow so i'll try to get it finished and posted up b4 i hit the sack tonight.

i do have a couple of Dr. apts early so i'll do my best to get the masters and it finished tonight.

right now were send out over 50 mlb spreadsheets daily, and i'm only seing a few q&a regarding them and use etc. working on the final changes now to the pivot tables and i expect everything to be done by this weekend. basically it's that and the pdws is all i use for any of my bets, so many of you must be using magic or something else, cause i sure dont see much in the way of analysis for there use by many

Yo Pops, I was just wondering if you saw the same trends in the Cincinnati and Arizona games that I did tonight in the master? It looked to me like everything was in favor of the under in these games based on the small sample size we have so far, but they were both pretty easy overs.

Wednesday April 18th

morning all, not sure if i can have coffee this morning, fasting blood test, but fuck it, i'm going for my stars anyway and said i didnt have anything to eat or drink

i havent seen geppi email on the master distribution yet this morning, but i sent it out last night. all of the pivot tables that i wanted to start the season with are done, and a complete redo of the whip as well. in my opinion it looks good, but we all say that about our children regardless how ugly or dumb they are

i did update all the summary areas, (popsummary and wa nps) but you should always check.

couple more weeks and all the home/away era switch over to the 2007 vs 2006 results

so smoke em if you got em, back in a few with my stars

i never start out looking for any game unders or try and make a case for them, but do play them if big line moves to the over or my ump at HP

btw, i just checked out the summaries and i didnt update the ones that were sent out, so take the 1st couple of min and update those few col in the pops summary home team, day/night, visiting team and umps, same in the wa nps plus a couple others like game of a series, pitchers and l/r pitchers against and you should be good to do

just waiting for geppi to wake up.

just cause your a made man does not mean you can keep your ass in bed all day getting BJ

spesh, use today's pdws to update the col's in the popsummary and wa nps, you will get very close to the same answers with respect to an overview, 1 game dont change shit, especially once the season is in full swing. last year i used the same one for every series w/o updating, it'll give you ant or elephant info

fyi, last year i only sent out master updates 2 times per week, and that was after the 2 sets of weekly series.

real reason i sent this one out is because of the added pivot tables plus the ones that were changed to make the data easier to read

starting in may i'll only update twice weekly like last year, no reason for it, ump dont go back to back nor do pitchers and 60/40 day/night hold for the entire series etc

leaving here in about 30, prob not back until noon

housekeeping

geppi has sent all the updates out, the 2nd email is the master that you should use, it has the updated pivot tables etc, but the 1st one has the pdws which you prob all d/l off the site already

game of a series. i'm not a strong believer of taking the summary down to the game of a series level. the way i use the game of a series is to go into the OUbyLine tab and look at the pivot table with 4 thru 16 on all, than filter the row 10 series GM # thru all the series game numbers and see if the overall trend is ov's or unders on those games, same with day/night as well

back around noon today

glta

p.s if you have any questions regarding the spreadsheets and pivots fire away, the advisory board members have used these for over a year and should be able to answer most

last thing were still working on is the projected total. ctp and cpu and stuck in a rut trying to come up with something, guess i'm going to have to spend more time giving specific direction, they cant see the forest for the trees
