come on man... if you say auburn over bama thats like saying iowa over ohio state. Auburn has three L's

People hung up too much on losses. This is not the NFL. OOC schedules matter becuase the schools make up the OOC schedules. It should matter. The argument should not be about how many losses but wins. If it is all about losses then there is no incentive to schedule good OOC games ( See Alabama). If the only arguement is losses then is OSU scheduled Youngstown State instead of Oklahoma, OSU would be in the playoff.

As fans, we should demand better and the committee should reward teams that play tough OOC schedules and punish teams who play FCS schools. The message the committee would send to OSU if left out would be if you played Youngstown State you would be in the playoffs. The message should be to Alabama is that if you played another P5 team you would have been in the playoffs. There should be a rule, if you are an elite team and want to compete for national titles, stop scheduling FCS schools. It would be best for the fans of college football.

I hate those who lost to who arguments trying to bring the strength of an entire conference. They're just plain silly

But let's play that game

The Big Ten Champion lost to Iowa, who lost to Purdue, who lost to RU, who lost to Eastern MI

Eastern MI lost to Ohio, Toledo, other directional Michigans and ARMY

So obviously, the whole Big Ten must suck

How many things in our lifetimes would be more crazy (cooler?!?) than if they announced #4 as University of Central Florida Knights?

I would love to see it but seriously, how crazy would LV be if you had a super Saturday 8 team playoff with 4 games kicking off at 1100 and moving West every 4 hours. Would it be bigger than the first weekend of March Madness?

think about this:

1100 Clemson vs UCF
1500 Oklahoma vs Penn State
1900 Bama vs OSU
2300 UGA vs USC
