Do we add GA to the bubble list?

I don't think so, I can't see the committee taking Ohio St over GA, but it's in the hands of bureaucrats at this point :)

Chances of making the field

Clemson 100%
Oklahoma 100%
Georgia 97.5%
Bama 49%
Ohio St 49%
UCF 2.0%
USC 2.5%

Total = 400%

For those criticizing bamas schedule let's not forget that fsu was supposed to contend for the championship this year before they lost their qb.

It is never the best 4. If nothing else but the best 4, then it is Auburn over Bama, but that is not going to happen. The reason OSU got in over PSU last year was that people said PSU lucked out on a blocked FG for a TD in Happy Valley and that OSU dominated the game in the box score. Plus it was earlier in the year and OSU looked like the better team. I don’t agree with that “eye test” arguement but at least it was an argument.

Bama did not look like a better team vs Auburn and lost on the scoreboard and in the box score two weeks ago thus we know they are not better than Auburn.

Not crticzing FSU but criticizing:

1. No True OOC road game in 7 years
2. 8 game conf schedule vs 9 game in B10, Pac12, and B12
3. Scheduling FCS Mercer in late November

That should matter. Yes OSU had an extra loss but they played 2 more games! B10 teams play 9 conf games and are not allowed to schedule FCS schools so essentially Bama played 2 less games than OSU ( You cannot seriously count Mercer as a W). I wish the committee would come out and shame Bama for scheduling Mercer and force these damn SEC schools to stop playing bad FCS teams at home. It is a huge advantage and essentially another bye week.

In my opinion, the committee has gotten the 4 teams exactly right ever year. This year, the #4 spot should go to Alabama (and it pains me to say that as I am an Oklahoma guy and I am tired of hearing that Alabama has made the playoff every year). Every game in the season should be important and 2 losses should be a virtual automatic eliminator (I could have seen an exception had Auburn won the SEC), especially when one is a blow-out loss to an unrated team.

Play-In Game.

Ya'll decide who to put in the Play-In Game. Obviously Bama vs. OSU but I'd be tempted to put Central Florida in it.

NCAA has Play-In Game for Basketball. And I grasp the difference, Football infinitely more grueling/hazardous so Extra Game = Crazy.

To me whatever Injustice Comes re: this theres none greater than schools like UCF (and Boise Past) not having a shot at The Crown & Ultimate Triumph, Legendary Historic Victory

and fans being deprived of being able to experience this.

alabama is in

I dont see that at all.
Bama's best win (LSU) lost to third best team in the Sun Belt.
This appears to be a slam dunk for Ohio St. Not making the title game will doom Crimson Tide as well
That is high criteria for the current format of selecting the final four

Illustrates how utterly ridiculous limitation to this 4 Team Playoff is but NCAA figures all the Wailing & Nashing of Teeth = Great Marketing, Free Hype Publicity, would 8-Team Playoff result in less Talk? Less Hype? Decrease in "excitement", surrounding/leading up to?

Personally I think not cuz that would equal teams like UCF getting a shot. And so many people love The Underdog.

Here I go again demanding more Football Games though....-EV aspects to that, which do have to be taken into consideration...impact on Health/Academics/School Budgets/Fan $$$ and whatever else.

I love how people say Bama didn't play anybody, they play in the fucking SEC, put any Big 10 team in the SEC West and they go 4-4 in Conference at best. Ole Miss and Arkansas would give Ohio St/Wisky a game, Big 10 will prove what a fraud they are like they do almost every season during the bowl games. Ohio St. played hot garbage Illinois, Indiana, Rutgers, and Maryland.

Just look at Tennessee and Vanderbilt. They go 1-15 in the SEC but out of Conference they beat both Kansas St. and Georgia Tech. Give me a break.

It is 2017 not 2010. SEC is not as dominant. 3 of last 4 ships went to non-SEC teams. SEC west 3rd Place team, lost to Troy. Yeah that Troy. 4th Place team gave up 45 to a garbage UCLA team who fired their coach. Don’t see how PSU or OSU couldn’t compete. Best SEC West OOC win? FSU on a neutral field? Don’t believe the hype. Lastly, are you saying Kansas St and GT are good this year? Last place Maryland beat Texas is just as similar.
