If you want to get technical, you are 100% wrong.

Like I mentioned in very clear English before, by LAW a 14 year
old cannot legally consent to having sex with a 33 year old. If the
child cannot consent, that is rape.

Add that to the fact that most countries around the world who do have statutory rape laws for this age don't prosecute nearly as much as the US and don't have nearly the penalties. There are even still many countries that consider 14 a legal age of consent. Add to that the fact that most of the world throughout history has thought this was acceptable.

So what you have is just in recent years and mostly in the US that having sex with a 14 year old is enough to give a person prison time. Compare that with the rest of the world throughout history.
