I think the bill he did just sign included money for 55 miles of actual new barriers. This will be the first actual new “wall” since Trump became President. All the other talk by him about the wall already being built has been renovations of already existing fencing. Trumps “fake news” is ok to these guys. They don’t care if he lies.
Ive said before a complete wall will takes years if not decades to fully complete and then many more years before it really shows any results. We need to do things right now that have a more immediate affect on immigration like the things you mention. I’m not against building a wall but I’m against putting it ahead of other things that can be done cheaper and more easily first that will definitely have an immediate impact.
I know because Trump had to move the goal posts since he knew he couldn’t get what he originally promised. And by complete wall I am talking about completing anything they want done. It’s 13 years since they started the original barriers from the Bush era and that still isn’t 100% complete. And most of that was on government land so was easy to do. There are a lot more obstacles now so who knows how long it will take but it could be decades to totally complete.
And now he is declaring a national emergency, even though he said he doesn’t need to(odd thing to say if there truly is a crisis) which won’t sit well with many Republicans. He might have good intentions but he isn’t very smart and has now proven he is very weak.
other presidents didn't have the resolve on this issue.. my best guess is , a lot of wall will go up with the money he has and will have.. I don't compare what Trump is going to do with Obamafraud or Bush .. Trump has 3 times the IQ of either of those fools... Trump has been dealing with obstacles like this his whole life n his business , we will get better results..
Someday one has to fill me in of why they believe this president is so intelligent. He stumbles to even talk coherently, when his policies or ideas are challenged, instead of staying calm and on point he will ridicule and demean. He always has come across as a rich brat that has tried to portray the Gordan Gekko character from wall street. From the way he dresses to living in an apartment made of gold(or at lest to look like gold). He has always seemed to me to be an act...he plays the part of what a poor person thinks of how a rich person should live and act.
I guess I just don't get it, when talking about elites, it is what he has been inspiring to be his entire life...and has been doing his best to play the part for acceptance.
