I have changed my mind. With the new information coming to light Trump cannot allow this bill
to become law. I hope the Senate takes one for the team and saves Trump from having to veto it.

Senate voted 83-16 for it already a few hrs ago. It is up to the House and they are certain to approve...

Trump MUST veto the bill.
It apparently is a 1200 page virtual amnesty nightmare fraught with well hidden details that bit-by-bit will not allow a real wall to be built, will dilute ICE's ability to keep us safe, will allow illegals to exploit minors to get into this country even more easily, will give billions more to foreign countries, etc etc.
This is coming from several sources that have access, though obviously no one can read the 1200 pages released last night at midnight by the bastards...
AND it will be the LAW so once he signs it, it is a DONE deal, game over.

Conservatives and Trump supporters are completely getting hosed on this deal.

And rumor has it Trump will sign the bill. Fuck that. I thought Trump was better than this.

"But I say to Congress that I will never sign another bill like this again. I'm not going to do it again."

Yeah right!

its a weak deal. But he's only doing what he can . shutdown didn't work last time who wants to go thru that again.....Not sure any other President would go beyond this latest deal and go with 2 more options to get this done.. From what I'm getting out of this , these limitations only last thru Sept.. in the meantime , building the wall continues , and a good amount of border security funds are secured .. I would guess the limitations are only an obstacle for the deal that was just signed , not the funds he's funneling out of the other depts.. One thing I did like about this deal , was no concessions for dreamers. Pelosi had that with previous deal , but lost that chip with this round..

what was the alternative with this situation ?
It's a bad bill because no one knows what's in it. It's the ACA all over again.

The alternative is to veto the bill. If you're going to talk the talk you better
be prepared to walk the walk.

It's called capitulating and that's the one thing Republicans excell at. Like I said
I thought Trump was better than this.

And I'm not even disapointed because I've come to expect it but what I am is disgusted.

When did Trump decide to become a member of the swamp?

Surprise! Surprise!

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) reportedly gave President Donald Trump false information
about legislation to prevent a second partial government shutdown, claiming the bill possesses no
“hidden provisions” or “landmines.”

The Kentucky Republican also is said to have told the president that signing the bill into law would be
a “win” over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who has long opposed any funding for a U.S.-Mexico border
wall, having called the proposal “immoral.”

I have one question. How is this a win over Pelosi?

Sure why not? What was the big deal with the last shut down? A bunch of "non-essential personnel" didn't get paid?
So what? They're called non-essential personnel for a reason.

Make the Senate show it's true colors. Make them override the veto. Show the people what is really going on.
Then come 2020 those Rinos up for reelection just might get voted out.

That 25 minute shitshow this afternoon was the best TV I've seen in years. Almost makes me wish Tiny could make it into a second term

"I didn't have to do this (declare a natl emergency). I just want to get it (my Wall) done faster..."
