also, didn't moon throw for 4,000 yards in 4 straight seasons? i know he did in 1991 and 1992 and i think he did in 90 and 93.

dante- i like the pick of gibson and i liked most of the steelers draft. gibson will be the #4 this year and will be given time to grow into his role. he gets to learn from one of the best in the game and all that will be asked of him is to be a possession receiver. he's a bad route-runner, but he will get better at that. the kid has a lot of physical gifts and the steelers are usually good at using these gifts to their best capabilities. as for the rest of the draft, i eventually talked myself into miller after hearing non-stop for a month that much to my chagrin we'd be going after him instead of after a top-flight CB. i wish jackson would've falledn to us or we would've gotten justin miller, but heath is going to be a great NFL TE. I got to see him twice against FSU and after his game against us his junior year remember saying that he would be better than winslow. against FSU in tally this year, heath was the lone bright spot for UVA. McFadden was a quality pick and he should be a good nickel corner this year. good draft for the steelers, we should go 10-6 or 11-5 this year

One year can make a world of difference. Colts had MANY defensive injury issues last season. We'll just have to wait and see. I have no idea if Manning will win a superbowl ever and neither does anyone. Time will tell the story.

Tom Brady cant hold a candle to Peyton Manning, sure Brady has Superbowl rings, trust me if Peyton was at NE he would have Superbowl rings too, its kinda hard to win when you have no defense. but please dont argue with nobody that Brady is a better QB, if you dont think so, when you get time compare the two stats, thanks...

This standard should also be used when comparing two other great QB's....Marino and Elway. Marino was possibly THE greatest QB in NFL history, look at Elway's stats between 1983-1992, I believe he had more INT's than TD's. It wasn't until Terrell Davis and Alex Gibbs came along that we started to hear these ridiculous arguments. Whenever I see someone argue that Elway was the greatest QB of all time, I know I'm either talking to someone from Denver ot someone that knows jack about football

I just like the whole Manning family, and I will always root for him and his brother. I watched John Elway for a many years before he finally broke his maiden, and Elway was a great QB before he ever won a Superbowl. dont worry Peyton will break his maiden, I hope its next year.

Are you talking about Tommy "I suck horribly" Maddox? He was bad but not as bad as the others we've had to endure since Bradshaw left. Mark "I smile when walking off the field after throwin an INT" Malone, Bubby "I throw like a prebuscent girl" Brister, Kordell "Ballerina" Stewart and last but certainly not least the immortal Neil "I threw the same bad pass to the same place in the Super Bowl twice when Thigpen was wide open down the sidelines" O'Donnell. The Tommygun era was not nearly as bad as some of those

I am still reseaching but i know i am RIGHT

Before Peyton Manning can EVER get to the super bowl, the Coach mr. donkey need to find a much greater defence. The Colts defence is way poor. And in fact the Sundays game with New England Peyton was 27-42 for 230 yrds passing no touchdowns. Yet still i can remeber that aganist the Pats he did a good job but it was not good enough..

Trend, I'm sorry to say but Peyton Manning has won a few playoff games. One against the Broncos last year and one against the Broncos in 2003 are the ones that come to my mind. They went out to the Pats in 2004 and 2003, out to the Jets in 2002 I believe, and I think out to the Dolphins in 2001 (the Lamar Smith 200+ yard game). If anyone else remembers anything different, please feel free to correct

Yeah, Maddox. He's a champion QB, albeit XFL (I miss so bad, btx), still a pro champ. Manning can't say that. :smoker2:

I think all here who are not trying to create controversy understand that Peyton Manning has already shown he has a Great offensive mind and maybe one of the best offensive coordinators in the league as a player. Maybe you haven't seen the study he does or the way he reads a defense, but to us who watch every game, there is little question.

Let's just hope he stays injury free Colt fans.
