why??? brady is better right now...but then someone will come along.. and will be better than tom

Gonna be tough.

Someone will come along and beat his passing numbers, most likely .. but gonna be awhile before we see another run like this one on the winning side .. and he keeps doing it regardless of personnel around him.

It's sort of like Lebron now ... seeing someone as great as Lebron and then realizing he isn't remotely comparable to Jordan says a lot. That is how it will likely be for future QB's when compared to Brady.

I spent a good part of my life thinking Lawrence Taylor was the best football player I ever saw. It's Tom Brady. I am a Raider fan, and we beat him when they stole the game from us on the blown reversal of a clear fumble. I hated him for a very long time. But you just have to tip your cap to the dude. He just finds ways to win (when he isn't playing Eli).

I didn't read this but no he won't.

In fact many records that we see now will fall very fast. By time Manning, Brady, and Brees die they will probably be outside the top 30 of all the record books.

The rules will get even more lax until it basically becomes like a 7 on 7 which these kids are doing now at a very young age.

there isn't a single player in the league right now that will have 9 superbowl appearances in 20 years

in 20 years brady will still be the best player.

Brady has now beaten the Conference #1 seed four times on the road.

2003 & 2004 Steelers, the 2006 Chargers and this year's Chiefs.

Hey, remember when Aaron Rodgers did that?

2001 Steelers :)

That was the game he got hurt 1st Q and Bledsoe came in. It was also the last time a team would be a double digit favorite in a playoff game when their QB was Kordell Stewart.

I was sitting in the end zone Pats and had a very clear view of the Troy Brown punt return developing. I can still see the play in my head because it was like watching in slow motion. I got sicker by the millisecond.

It'll just be tough for someone to have that type of team success. Someone might come along and be as good as Brady but probably not gonna have the best coach in the league for almost 2 decades.

Another underrated thing is I think Dante Scarnecchia is 1 of the best OL coaches of all time. The way he coaches these guys up year after year even with a lot of turnover has probably been the most underrated aspect of the Pats run.

No coincidence their OL got schooled in 2015 and was the weak point of the team when he took a 2 year hiatus.

That is one unsung truth that has helped immensely over the years. Scarneccia is an O line wizard. Brady also helps himself and his O linemen by moving in the pocket better than anyone I've ever seen. He trusts the way they will block and they trust the way he will move as he keeps his eyes downfield. Brady also has an uncanny sixth sense for feeling the pressure and knowing how to move to avoid it.
