I see where Fish is coming from...my list would include mostly NFL players from the 60's thru the 90's..starting with Jim Brown...

In all due respect, anyone that would put BRADY in the top ten of all-time football players is obviously.......

1. very young
2. doesnt watch a lot of football

Agreed, although I think Brady is a phenomenal talent anyone old enough to watch Joe Montana during his early years and his prime would have a great argument at him being the greatest QB ever and he has the rings to prove it.

3 championships already and he is only getting better which is scary

1650 yards and 20 TD's in the first 5 and a half games so far, could shatter every QB single season record this year!

In my eyes, LT was the greatest player ever.
Taylor revolutionized the linebacker position, basiclly reinvented it.
Greatest ever QB? Probably, greatest ever player to ever play the game, no.
Top 10 though, on a par with Montana.

Great QB.......but in a fantastic system, much like Montana.................but you cant take a whole lot away from either because of that.

Jim Otto, Jim Ringo, Frank Winters, and Jeff Saturday are a few of the most underrated players ever to play the game..........all four Centers.

Jim Otto was a better football player than Brady.........and I would take him in a heartbeak over Brady if selecting a team.

Otto would probably make my top five of all-time football players that I've witnessed personally.

LT was a monster...faster and stronger than Butkus, who was considered the best during his days...:drink:

He will be considered a great winner in the class of Montana, Starr, and Bradshaw, even aikman (who I would be left undrafted in smaller fantasy leagues). Great / greatest player last 20 years is a tougher call. It's only been 6 full seasons.

** It's even harder to repeat now then in those guys days, amazing.

Tom Brady was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball draft as a catcher by the Montreal Expos.

haha, we could sit here and debate who is better till we are blue in the face. both are so much better than anyone else that plays in their era, its not even funny. brady has more rings but he also has played on teams whose defense doesnt give up a ton of points each game. manning has to win more shootouts due to how bad his defense has a tendency to be. he is forced to put up big numbers or else they lose. i dont think this has ever really been the case with brady. both are great, we can leave it at that.

Nice to see him finally have an elite WR to throw to.

Off the top of my head:

Todd Helton: punter(?) at Tennessee.

Matt Holiday: Shit, did he sign with UNC? Damn, can't remember the school but he and Drew Henson were superstar QB recruits and superstar baseball prospects their SR year of high school.

Helton lost his job to Peyton Manning, correct.
Holliday is also correct.
Who was the other QB at Ole Miss when Eli played?

Brady is kind of a victim of being on a team that's so effing good. he rarely, if ever, has to bring his team from behind, or do it all himself, for that matter. it's unfair, but he's hardly ever been put in a situation where he must prove himself.
