Should be a good one buddy. I may just make a series bet and lay off the game to game action.

@) dont think sooo.....

Hi barnzy,
out of my 9674 posts and the almost 5 years I have been on this forum I can probably count on 1 hand how many times I have been negative, rude, or acted inappropriate to any other members. It's just that the fucking downright entitlement that these Phillies fans have makes me sick (I live outside of Philadelphia), the majority are just plain arrogant and rude, before 1 pitch was thrown, 1 ball hit, 1 hotdog sold, these fuckers had the Phillies in and winning the World Series, granted they had an outstanding year played great ball and absolutely deserved to be where they were, facing the wild card team with home field advantage, but thats it; once the playoffs start its a new season, its a wash, the slate is clean. You need to go out and play ball and win games offensively and defensively, to be so arrogant and to call someone out in their thread and make bold statements to the effect that they (the Phillies) won't lose is one thing but when the thread starter challenged him to a wager he was nowhere to be found, money talks bullshit walks. As I said I would be a complete moron not to give the Phils the props they deserve for their play during the regular season but thats where it ends. They lost fair and square, they were beaten by the Cardinals fair and square, Halliday pitched a great game their offense couldn't hit or score, THEY GOT BEAT, thats it! I'm sorry for ranting and carrying on I guess living in the middle of this mess between the "DREAM TEAM" and the self proclaimed "WORLD SERIES CHAMPS" who couldn't get out of the first round I guess it's finally gotten to me. I'm done carrying on, you have a great day and good luck tonight, I'm on Detroit, I just hit 2 nice NCAA football games Oaky and Maryland and am 6-0 on my last 6 wagers so I have to keep it going since I'm hot right now, 30+ years of this I've learned that you need to strike while the fire is hot! Good Luck, The Capt~

Thanks thess,
I just checked the PhillyMan's previous posts and he spends a lot of time in the "Horse Racing Forum" every race is fixed, the stewards allow it, blah, blah, blah, he's a victim of conspiracies! He also has the Eagle's beating Buffalo this week scoring 45 points (thats not a typo) 45! The Eagles might win that game who knows, its a no play for me. Good Luck on your plays. The Capt~

As far as horse racing.... You probably have no clue but i'm not one to judge. If you watch the replay of the race i made a comment on, you may see that i know what i'm talking about.. Before you make comments about one that try's to help everyone out and bust my balls for it get a clue. You are now on my loser list.

<3 the people who talk all the shit after game 1 and three and yet don't come back into the thread when the Phillies lose the series...

Congrats on the win man. Phillies offense failed to show up and the Cardinals just seemed to want it more for whatever reason. Disappointing end to a great season for the Phils. The only Phillie I feel for is Halladay, guy pitched a hell of a game that night, what a wasted effort (Carp was light out too). Good luck with Brew crew, they are a scary bunch and remind me of the '08 Phillies a little bit with better starting pitching though.

FYI - Some people have other things on their plate so coming back in to someone's thread to give them a pat on the head for being right may not always be on the top of the list. Just food for thought.

if people (others, not only you) can go into a thread and say I'm completely and utterly off, then they can come back when they lose. Seems fair enough. Thanks for the congrats, though.
