Hes trying to big mouth himself out of the race. He does not wanna be president
a

A friend of my advanced that theory after the McCain remarks, and I scoffed at it. I ain't scoffing now: I watched in amazement how those remarks didn't sink his ship-quite the contrary. Of course, a lot of people seem to be forgetting that almost all of this adulation is ONLY from Republicans.

I only recently checked out Fiorina's record, lemme get this straight: she was the head of a major firm that tanks, gets her ass fired, runs for the Senate in Cali, gets butchered, and THAT signals she should run for President-and she was deemed the "winner" of the two debates. And, IMO, the only person running a worse campaign than Hillary thus far is Bush.

Gotta LOVE the Republican party, lol...

It's funny but I think this is true. I don't think he wants it at all.

I think he's shocked he's at the top of the polls.

In typical trump fashion.....he should drop out now and then he will say " let's be honest, I could be president if I wanted to"

Well that would leave Cruz. Will he generate as much enthusiasm as Trump? Cruz reminds me of Gingrich, he has a way of putting you down without offending anyone.

The Republican party/establishment only has themselves to blame for Trump's surge in popularity IMO. Strangely, anyone who excites the R base historically finds themselves as public enemy No. 1 among the party elites. Look how they treat Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, etc...as part of the problem instead of the solution. As Joe said, that's how we end up with Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney...all endorsed by the dims in the primaries, then savaged by the same Left through the election after they win the R nomination.

Trump is a smart business guy. He finds a place in the market and looks for what is missing. He saw a void that existed on the conservative side of registered Republican voters...someone with a set who is willing to stand up to the Washington cartel (as Ted Cruz calls them). The establishment does not like people who upset their status quo (which The Donald has destroyed)...and even worse for them, they don't know what to do with him. Whenever someone tries to PC Trump, he tells them to get fucked...and the polls reflect endorsement of that sentiment. The tried and true methods of attempting to destroy a political candidate aren't working as well in this case. I'm expecting both the Rs and Ds to try bringing out the heavier artillery in their attacks. Too early for that now.

Anyway, if the R leaders were even mildly concerned with what their voting base thought and cared about instead of worrying about kowtowing to the cocktail party circuit in DC, none of this would be happening because there would have been no void to fill. But since Reagan for all intents and purposes, the R field is just not getting it done. That's why Trump's numbers are up, and why I'm afraid they'd never back Cruz. We'll see if those numbers stay there.

Just listening to Steve Hayes, George Will, Krauthammer 3 Fox 6PM pundits, add Carl Rove & Sanunu and I'm
thinking these establishment guys would prefer Hillary Clinton to Trump the way they bash him.

Many of the greatest and most important success stories have failures in the resume.

And her failures are not exactly anything to hide from. Dismissed after a board room fight with the Chairman of the Board after six years heading the largest tech company in America while competitors Compaq and Gateway went unde
r in the consolidation era for desktops. And losing to an incumbent Dem since '92 in a Blue State for one of the two highest political offices in the biggest state in the US of A ain't exactly like losing your paper route.

Smart people learn from failure.

I think I get what you're saying.

When a dem screws up.....they are failures and losers.

When a repub screws up.....it's a learning experience and we should elect them president.

The drunken white supremacist militant neo-feminazi gaystream commufascist islamo-sympathizer Alinsky radicalized baby killing fetishist Vitterd not really taking into account how impressive it is to be named CEO of a major tech company as a female back in 1999.

yup. Looks like America is fed up with her politicians. Especially the middle class. She has seen her purchasing power erode, grossly so. drip..drip..drip. EVENTUALLY when she does say enough is enough?

Trump is seen as the anti-politician. Bombastic, charismatic. Proven business winner...walks the walk. Has balls. As you've said, he's 'learning on the job'. Perhaps a bit short on diplomacy. I think a fragment of the population is saying. 'fuck it, i'm not trusting any politician....anymore'. In fact, a most recent surveymonkey poll shows us that 54% of Trump voters will vote for him as President even if he's NOT the Republican candidate; enough said :)

the other candidates? look no further than TPP. ALL presidential republican candidates (less Rand) voted yes for this rubbish. EVEN Mr. Anti-establishement Cruz. Not to pick on Cruz, but here's what he had to say about the 'rapidly-pushed along-secretive 'TPP ;

“By passing Trade Promotion Authority, we create a path for trade agreements to reduce government-created barriers to prosperity. More economic growth will expand opportunity to those working to climb the economic ladder and achieve the American Dream.”

LMFAO. How so, Cruz?

of course America was sold this rubbish years ago by the smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth talking Bill Clinton. Lest we forget;

'Bill Clinton, the country's most ardent booster of opening trade with China, looks especially imprudent 10 years later. During a press conference on March 29, 2000, Clinton said that granting China permanent normal trade relations (PNTR), which allowed China to gain entry into the WTO, would be a great deal for America. "We do nothing," Clinton said. "They have to lower tariffs. They open up telecommunications for investment. They allow us to sell cars made in America in China at much lower tariffs. They allow us to put our own distributorships there. They allow us to put our own parts there. We don't have to transfer technology or do joint manufacturing in China any more.This a hundred-to-nothing deal for America when it comes to the economic consequences."'

now I ask you,could you have made that shit up? :)

here's Trump on TPP;

http://www.rt.com/usa/257377-tpp-deal-trump-criticism/

“The new trade deal is a disaster,” The Hill quoted Trump as saying at the South Carolina Freedom Summit in Greenville, South Carolina.
“They don’t talk about currency manipulation,” he said. “That’s the tool all these countries are using to beat us.”
Trump stressed that the deal would encourage US companies to move their production abroad, weakening US domestic job market.

'Our leaders are incompetent. They’re babies,” :) he added. (guess he had to fire the insult....dagone.....)

Yeah, well, your Smart Person is polling at 8%, after her great debate, amongst Republican voters. So, less than 1 person in 12 in that clown party likes her even now. Not exactly runaway enthusiasm...

I think Trump pulls out before it's all said and done. Trump is as liberal as the day is long, people just haven't taken the time to really look at him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's doing all this strictly for publicity, that and his massive ego.

Trump is on target with the major issues of jobs & immigration & he's being brave & pragmatic on issues that concern
women. He is not a doctrinaire Republican those who demand a litmus test on all issues dear to the hearts of conservatives
may not follow! Illegal aliens are the foremost troubling problem in America. In 1970 one out of 100 Virginians was foreign
born now it's 1 in 9 the US is being invaded by 3rd world outcasts.

Those who say Trump won't deport 20 million illegals are creating a straw man. Trump will deport a segment of them mostly
the evil doers, but the real message is a Trump built wall will certainly eliminate any more illegal entries, the problem won't get
any worse & that's a big deal.

Immigration from cess pool countries is perhaps becoming far worse in Europe, what a headache they have, Trump's plan
if I read it correctly is similar to that of Tony Abbot of Australia, what a tremendous job he's doing making sure that
Australia retains it's language & culture by handling its borders in a patriotic manner. European stupid leaders are
almost insuring a future that tends downward, Australia will remain strong if Trump is elected so will the USA.

Trump would destroy the country.....thankfully he has ZERO chance of winning.
