Proline was here long before Orville Redenbacher became Premier.

Government betting is for $10 players. I still play on line and settle with my agents weekly. Its easier than Pinnacle.

I wasn't insinuating that Wynne created proline. Just pointing out the idiocy of the province. But if you really want to get technical pro picks originated with Mcguinty. The proline of the early 90's was actually extremely profitable. You had the Sens or Sharks paying 9 to 1 for a straight up win!! Pro picks started in 2005.

I agree -120 isn't smart and the serious bettors won't do it. I'm no longer a serious better and to have an easy way to wager and collect would be worth it for me for an occasional spot here and there. Highly prefer -110 or less but if it's my only option and love a game here and there I would do it. Again I no longer study it like before daily (study isn't the right term) but I quit because of how hard it is get and deposit money. Just not worth the hassle, for ME.

Go blue and bigbet I totally agree. It’s coming and the masses will play -120 or worse.

So you guys think that the states will actually run their own sportsbooks?

The consumer needs them to legalize and regulate it. But leave the actual operation to the private sector free market. That is the only way prices will come down. And they most certainly will if there is private sector competition.

It'll be like other forms of gambling in this country. Heavily regulated and licensed but not gov't controlled.

And -110 will be the standard. If they try to "get people" it'll be on little things like teaser/parlay odds rather than straight bet odds.
