From the beginning I have said we do not want any action from any professionals (Wise Guys, Scalpers, Chasers etc.) We have cut a lot of people and the number of people being cut is growing quickly.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

Just want everyone to know if you have been cut off or hear people complaining of being cut off, it is with reason. I was very upfront and they decided to take a chance anyways. We will handle each case individually and make sure everyone is happy.

<o:p></o:p>

We also know there are 2 types of sharps, the “Moves, Wise Guy? What are you talking about” and the rest who know. So not every one is going to be happy about being cut off.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

Just want everyone to know before any talking might get started.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Typical response from a "losers only" sportsbook. What do you think running a sportsbook is, a deposit only bank? People win at betting, people lose at betting. You guys get the juice. If you have no clue, GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS!!!

Pretty much sums it up as usual...

Just another sportsbook that comes along and makes great offers to anyone who wants to lose their money. If you actually have a clue, the offers don't work for you.

Wrong answer. We pay winners and we let some wise guys bet early. We do pay, we are fair, and we’ve been around the block a few times.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

I told everyone when we opened this site, we did not want the beards, scalpers, playing middles etc. betting here. No fine print. I even told people on the phone if you're a professional you might not want to play here. We are simply talking to and limiting people that we told before we didn’t want that kind of action.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

Don't like that or you play moves, chase, scalp or are a beard play somewhere else.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

We offer a 20% bonus with -105 lines. Do we need people like that? Of course not, we're exposed as it is and are doing better than anticipated. For a recreational bettor to get 20% and lay –105 this is a great book.<o:p></o:p>

This doesnt apply to me bc I am not a large bettor but these statements turn me off of books. I begin to question their capabilities and staying power if they are cutting limits after only 3 weeks.

It sure came crashing down fast after positive movements forward. It looks like one more advertising book on top to the loser side of the ledger.

and you guys wondered why i got so upset when bowmans pulled a similiar stunt? when books do this kind of stuff, they're guilty by association.

for all the sportsbook managers out there, do you really want to be associated with a guy like this? or a book like this? sometimes your reputations can be more important than your bottom lines.

the bottom line can always be recovered in the future, once you lose your reputation....it's gone forever.

You all act as I never told anyone we didn’t want these players BEFORE THEY SENT THEIR MONEY. It's not that we're cutting after 3 weeks. A lot of people we're talking to are currently loosing for the year. We have been doing better than expected on our side and are still backed by and extremely strong and established credit shop. The only people that want wise guys are the people that have alllll the wise guys. That takes a while and a very very very large bankroll.

We’re not stealing; we’re not ripping anyone off. We’re sticking to what we originally said 1 month ago.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

top cat, do you guys offer different lines for your 2 classifications of players...or do you just cut your winners off altogether?

unlike some others, i'm not going to insult you and call you names. i just strongly disagree with your business practices. but at the end of the day, it's your business and you have every right to run it how you choose.

just don't be surprised if in the end, if things don't work out the way you hoped they would.

Top Cat, you added "beard" for the first time in your posts. Beards should be tossed as they are used to circumvent max limits. The other people mentioned such as bettors who win, thats part of the business.

I don't get this

Mike said this was the plan from the begining, he couldn't have made it more clear.

-105 +20% means you WIN MONEY picking 50%, why should they take multiple max-bets from people always making the 54% selection?? I don't blame the pros for taking advantage of it, and I sure as hell can't fault Trojan for their actions as a result. Nobody is getting fucked here, it's business.

Are they all making the bets at the exact same second? If they are not, they should be able to move the line or vig. If they dont understand this basic concept, I dont want to play at their book bc they are bound to fuk something else up.

We have only cut off 1 player. We use the same lines. We pay winners. Beards and chasers were the groups that were standing out. I had mentioned before we want nothing to do with them. Everyone regardless was and will be paid in full (including bonus if rollover met).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

I think most of you that are here right now probably would have no problem unless your chasing don best, which even then would be negotiable.<o:p></o:p>

A book that has to boot winners does not know how to run their buisness properly.

If you don't have the skills to garner equal betting on both sides you should choose another line of work.

even if i don't agree with your business principals, i wish no one any ill will...

but you guys should really work on your website. i'm all for minimalism, but you guys have "here today, gone tomorrow" written all over yourselves with that low-profile, simplistic site. just being honest.

you might want to invest a few dollars and have a good web designer hook you guys up. and definitely state your companies policies on your site, like you just have in here. that, and about a hundred other things you guys should have on your site to convince new bettors looking for outs that you guys are worth their time.

just a suggestion.

Makes sense for a book that doesn't have great volume to do this. The books that cater to "wiseguys" have the numbers to justify it. I would rather a book tread lightly rather than put my postup money at risk from overexposing themselves.
