I tend to agree with Christian above. Any one individual who wants to buy a machine gun is either expecting the army to take their stuff, or is a mental case.
Here's a question for the right-wing pro-gun folks: if the right to bear arms is based largely on your right to be ready for a revolution should your gov't get out of line, then why do you simultaneously support the rise of a military that even the military of a foreign nation couldn't keep at bay, never mind your citizenry? I never did quite understand that.
