It's a crying shame they didn't win the game outright.
My 150 dimer on Virginia Military Institute (+8) easily covered the number losing 60-57 to UNC Greensboro but gave it away down the stretch.
They led 28-27 at the half and by 10 with under 7 minutes to go before a huge offensive rebound, a three, a stop, another 3 and just like that a 4-point game.
The Spartans didn't take their first lead in the 2nd half until 1:19 to go in the game 58-57 and on their last possession, the Cadets turned it over with 2 seconds to go.
Don't get me wrong, I will take the rock solid win but you know I like my underdogs to win the game outright.
Which brings me to today.
I was spot on with my 150 dime winner in the first meeting week 11 when I came with the Bills -2 1/2 and they got the last Allen TD run to win it 30-21.
Do I pull the 200 dime trigger on the small dog Bills and Josh Allen again or pull the 200 dime trigger on Patrick Mahomes to beat Allen in the playoffs once again?
Well, I had the first meeting winner and I am pretty damn confident I will have this 2nd meeting as well.
The 150 dime college basketball winner Saturday was nice. This 200 dimer on Sunday will be even nicer.

My Analysis
He just can't beat him when it matters.

Last year was it. Finally, Josh Allen didn't have to go into Kansas City and try and beat Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.

In the divisional round Allen was at home, Bills mafia, crowd, everything was in front of him.

And Mahomes beat him for the 3rd time 27-24!!!!!!

Now Allen/Mahomes 4 takes place back in Kansas City, where the last time they met here in 2021, it was the divisional round and the Bills 13 seconds away from the win.

No need to recap the absolute stupidity of defensive coordinator Leslie Frasier and head coach Sean McDermott. Andy Reid made McDermott his bitch again.

Now, both teams come in here off games where they were completely outplayed and both probably should have lost.

The Bills were out gained by the Ravens 416 to 273 but 3 turnovers doomed the Ravens. The Chiefs were out gained 336-212 by the Texans but Houston allowed 8 sacks and had 8 penalties.

Here is my problem with backing the Bills here.

In 4 road games against playoff teams they were 1-3 SU and ATS losing 35-10 at Baltimore, 23-20 at Houston, 44-42 at Rams and beat Detroit 48-42.

Now what jumps out to you about those scores above?

This Buffalo defense away from home against good teams has gotten destroyed. I mean, absolutely destroyed.

And I believe we will see the best showing of this Chiefs offense this year, the kind of offense we saw at Pittsburgh week 17.

They scored 29, Mahomes threw for 320 and had 3 touchdowns and that was against a pretty good Steelers defense, in their house, not an easy thing to do.

I get it, the Chiefs have looked so ugly at times all year long and yes, they should have lost Cincy week 2, Denver week 10 and Raiders week 13.

Fact of the matter is they didn't because this team knows how to win.

Allen will have his moments today but at the end of the day, you are not coming into Kansas City and beating the Chiefs with this Buffalo defense.

A defense that gave up 35 at Baltimore, 44 at LA and 42 in Detroit.

Some numbers for you: Home teams in the previous 18 AFC title games are 15-3 SU, not a good number for Allen today.

Lastly, over the last 2 years the Buffalo Bills are 3-18 ATS when their defense gives up 21 points or more, the worst mark in the NFL.

And trust me folks, the Chiefs will score more than 21 at home tonight and when push comes to shove, which defense will get the critical stop when needed?

It will be the Chiefs that get that stop.

At the end of the day, until the Bills show you they can finally win in this spot, you just can't go against Patrick Mahomes, at home, in a playoff game. End of story.

The 3-peat is alive as the Chiefs punch their ticket to a 3rd straight Super Bowl.
