Last week rock solid baseball winners on Tuesday and Wednesday on the Cardinals, both nights cashing (+140) underdogs.

Tonight, I like what I am seeing on the diamond yet again.

As for last night, all I can say is, "Are you fuc@%$#$ing kidding me."

I'm not even going to waste a second of energy about the Lions (+11 1/2) last night except to say how can Jared Goff be that good in the 1st half and that bad in the 2nd.

Wow. You can't make this stuff up!!!!!

From the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday fumbling 1st and goal at the one with 7 minutes to go in the game as they are about to take a 31-30 lead.

From the Philadelphia Eagles 1st and goal at the 1 yard line with 4 minutes to go in the 1st half about to take a 10-0 lead and can't get into the end zone.

From the Lions last night 4th and 1 at the Packers 24 yard line with 5 minutes to go 3rd quarter trailing 21-17 and can't pick up the 1st down.

That was my weekend in a nutshell. A blink of an eye and it's a 3-0 sweep and we are rolling into this week.

But nope. All 3 games, it went the other way.

Here in September everything that could go wrong has gone wrong and now, with 10 days left in the month, I have to rally big time.

I have done it before and trust me when I tell you, I am confident I can do it again.

I will grind these last 10 days, stick with the process and let the chips fall where they may.

Today I stay in the National league for a 3rd straight winner in the league where pitchers hit.

As for last night, the Rays came up short at home against Tampa as they were held in check to 5 hits in the 4-2 loss.

Give the Blue Jays credit, they got the big hit when they needed.
