Well, I have waited 29 days to give you #2 in a row and it's finally here.
It was back on Saturday August 21st when I handed you the 100 dime winner in preseason on the Titans (+1) rolling into Tampa Bay and destroying the Bucs 34-3.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this play today, about as much as that first NFL 100 dimer on the Titans which won by 31 points.
As for Saturday, been in this business for over 30 years and I have lost games I had no right losing and the Indiana Hoosiers go right into my top 10 toughest beats.
Up 14-0 with 4 minutes to go in the first half, they get yet another stop and force a punt except linebacker Micah McFadden hits QB Desmond Ridder late.
He gets called for a late hit, a review shows targeting, gets ejected and all momentum gone.
Their best defensive player, their team captain, who makes all the defensive play calls, the one player on that side of the ball they can ill afford to lose, GONE.
Forget 2 trips inside the 10 yard line in the first half and no points, or the fumble at the Cincy 2 with 7 minutes to go when they are about to take a 31-30 lead.
That ejection of their best defensive player at that time of the game was devastating.
Time to put my rally cap on. Roll up my sleeves and get this 2nd straight 100 dime NFL winner to the masses.
If I have said it once, I have said it a million times, the right side of a game doesn't always win based on actions you as a handicapper or bettor can't control.
You move forward knowing your opinion was spot on but the element of human error and stupidity of kids at the wrong time bit you in the ass.
It's no secret I am looking to make September a 6th straight winning month and if September is going to be #6 in a row, this is a must win Sunday.
I have always been at my very best when my back is against the wall and today is one of those days.
Bottom line: I wouldn't bet against me today. END OF STORY.
Now watch me bang home this 2nd straight 100 dime winner.
