Let's get to 2-1 here in the month of June.

Well after going 9-4 in the conference finals I backed Golden State in game one on Thursday night and dropped the 50 dimer.

Came back on Friday with a nice 25 dime winner on the Astros (-120) 7-3 over the Red Sox and then I upped the ante with a 50 dimer on Verlander last night -1 1/2 runs.

Up 3-2 in the top of the 7th, it was the Astros bullpen that imploded, most notably Will Harris who gives up 2 homers in that frame and down goes the Astros.

Tonight, I come right back with a 50 dime play on game 2 in the NBA finals as I look to push the overall playoff winning streak to 10 of my last 15.

Feeling another winner today Back in the winners circle again and keeping the momentum right here tonight. Simple as that. staying right here with me today.

Well Steph Curry made sure the Warriors won and covered with his nine 3's and LeBron couldn't answer and the Warriors got it done 122-103.

Needed 40 from James but got 29 and that isn't going to get it done.

ANALYSIS

I am trusting what my eyes tell me.

The entire world believes the Cavaliers are a devastated team that lost a heartbreaker and won't show up in game two tonight.

The entire world believes they are deflated and Golden State is going to just show up and destroy LeBron James and his team by 20.

After what I saw in game one, I am not one of those.

Cleveland absolutely dominated the paint with 19 offensive rebounds and Steve Kerr after the game one win said, "We have to clean that up."

Hey Steve, did you sign some new players the last 3 days? Last I checked Steve, nobody new and you have no one to stop LeBron?

The only one who can truly defend him Andre Igoudala is in street clothes, is out for game two.

Think about this: The Warriors shot 51% from the floor, 37% from 3 and still should have lost.

One thing history has taught us in the NBA finals with the Cavs is they respond when adversity is at it's highest.

They lost Kyrie Irving at the end of regulation of game one back in 2015 and went on to lose in OT only to comeback and win game two in OT before losing in 6 games.

They were down 3-1 in 2016 losing game four at home only to comeback and win that series 4-3 in historic fashion.

I am putting a lot of faith LeBron James but I have seen nothing that leads me to believe he is just going to lay down and play dead. I just don't.

Bottom line in my opinion is this: You can't give the best player in the NBA double digits in any game. PERIOD!!!

This isn't the same Warriors team we are used to seeing. Their best defender out, no low post presence and a banged up Klay Thompson.

For me, I'm not passing up the best player on the planet plus double digits.

Winning day #3 in a row and I am doubling down.

I follow up Monday's 20 dime winner on the Angels -1 1/2 runs with one of the biggest blowouts of the year as the Braves hammer the Padres 14-1.

Well, after a stellar performance in the conference finals at 9-4, I have come out in the NBA finals and thrown up the 0-3 collar.

Game one wrong side Warriors. Game two wrong side Cavs. Game three came with the Cavs and it was right there for the cover and they came up short.

No use rehashing the last 3 minutes of the game here. I took the dog. The dog came up short. End of story.

ANALYSIS

They have surprised everyone.

After losing Robinson Cano for pretty much half the season for doping pretty much everyone left the Seattle Mariners for dead.

Yet courtesy of a 14-4 run they lead the world champion Astros by one game heading into this game tonight.

Impressive to say the least.

The pitching matchup is Mike Leake and Ryne Stanek.

Leake just came off dominating the Rays at home last Friday giving up 2 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings only to watch his closer blow it in the 9th.

In 3 career starts versus the Rays he is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA and over his last 3 starts he has a 1.66 ERA having not allowed a walk in his last 4 starts.

Stanek is starting out of the bullpen and he has been successful but facing a Mariners team that just had their 5 game winning streak snapped last night.

Better team, better value. End of story.
