All I can say is I'm speechless.
Padres winners of 7 of 8 heading into Arizona last night, have now won 7 of 9 courtesy of not being able to hit Brandon Pfaadt..
I have had some amazing winning streaks in my 30-plus years in this business. For a reference, see my NBA playoff run and the month of May!!!!!
At the same time, I have had some bad losing streaks in my 30-plus years in this business and this current baseball run certainly is right up there.
Just can't find it. Simple as that.
Every hot pitcher. Every hot streak they are on I have rode those streaks only to see them end.
Day late and a dollar short.
Just have to keep grinding through one day at a time, one winner at a time.

do you guys remember the old "right side wrong result" BS that he use to say all the time in football not sure if he does that much anymore.....I've been waiting for it. I have the better pitcher, I have the better situation, I have the better team, and yet they lose. OHHH does he have the better pitcher and ERA tonight barely laying any juice as this line is dropping on Rangers at home against a yankees team that has lost 4 in a row forget the 3 wins in a row before that. Judge returns wont be enough Stanton is out. Eovaldi has been lights out giving up 1 or less earned runs in last 5 outings.....tomorrow "pitched his ass off" leaves the game hands it to the bullpen and they give the game away......He ended Valdez, he ended Skenes, He ended Peterson, Eovaldi its not your fault buddy you have officially been "langed"
