It's a start.
Nathan Eovaldi was as good as advertised last night holding the Yankees to 1-hit over 8 innings in the Rangers 2-0 win last night.
It was nice to see the Texas bats finally get a couple across in the 8th with a Rowdy Tellez bloop single with 1-out plated the 2 runs we needed.
That was after the Rangers had guys all over the bases on Warren and couldn't get anything going.
Back to back walks to start the 2nd, leadoff doubles in the 3rd and 4th and back to back singles to lead off the 6th.
We're talking 8 hits total and only score 2, not exactly executing at the plate but all's well that ends well.
Just have to keep grinding through one day at a time, one winner at a time.
It continues with another 50 dimer on this Wednesday card.

Just keep stacking up winning days.
Michael Wacha stepped up and stayed red hot for me last night as did the Kansas City Royals in snapping the Red Sox 7-game winning streak.
I noted in my breakdown about Kansas City, how they have won a game in their last 10 series and yesterday they were trying to avoid the sweep and keep that run alive.
They did both as Wacha was rock solid, the offense got me 7 runs and the bullpen did the rest in the 7-3 win.
That was after Nathan Eovaldi was as good as advertised Tuesday holding the Yankees to 1-hit over 8 innings in the Rangers 2-0 win last night.
Just have to keep grinding through one day at a time, one winner at a time.

Also, noting each last 4 "day after Lang" won by 2 or more runs.....something tells me now he's not doing MLB tomorrow after giving back 65 dimes on Marlins. He's in the middle of this whole trying to stay in the Green on current run and also not wanting to hurt his football record at the same time. Had he won the hall of fame game no way would he have not done a preseason pick tonight.
