The NBA is such an inferior product compared to the NHL

NHL hockey players, many from small towns in Canada, play to win hockey games every night.

NBA basektball players, many from American urban centers, put forth effort on rare occasions.

The NHL is more exciting to watch because of this difference.

If you want to read race into this, go right ahead.

I don't think it has anything to do with race. I think it has to do with the upbringing of an individual. People from small towns in Canada have a much better work ethic than people from American urban centers. This is true of anyone in an American urban center whether they are white, black, hispanic, etc.
