Yeah, thanks for Roger and Canas. What a way to end the match by hitting an ace. Canas looked like dead and buried but it is incredible what it does for players when other keeps just barely his serve saving more than one breakpoints and after that when player who is dominating is so often losing his serve. It was like yesterday when Nieminen was able to keep his servicegame and after that he rolled over Nalbandian in the tiebreak. I don't know if it gives servekeeper more boost or does it give a lack of confidence for player who is trying to make the break or both but Federer made so easy errors in that servicegame where Canas made the rebreak. The audience was pretty rude for both players.

Here are the ended matches. Nieminen lost the first set but he is often winning the second set after losing the first but I am not sure about that this time against Ljubicic.

D.Ferrer - A.Roddick +246 4/10 LOST -4,00

F.Federer - G.Canas +10000 1/10
Was thinking options Federer will not win 2-0 but I am much more intrested in bigger odds. I will propably play later 2-0 for Canas with small stake when I will find good odd for that because I think if Federer is able to take a set his mastermind will take care of the rest but as long as he will not win a set it will come more and more difficult for him to play because I think he is not after all so strong mentally and it is more because others think he is and give him respect but if you are able to take his game away he is ordinary mortal, just like you and me.

absolutely FANTASTIC MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!.........enjoy the cash............

nt: how sad is this site, when a poster nails a +1000 dog and the only posters congratulating him are the regular tennis posters. Unreal, wondering whats the point in posting tennis plays if no one cares or reads this section

At least you pals are here :103631605

I think there is not so many active tennisbetting forum in the net? Menstennisforums has that gambling section, I have been reading it sometimes, but I am not so sure about other places. Partly I understand that this forum is mostly for northamerican sports and for most of people it is more intresting because they are from places where they are playing these other sports and what companies are offering the best lines for tennisbetting? Pinnaclesports and Betfair and there is no bisnes for U.S. players to go there. I think we need a new company what offers good odds for tennisbetting and is open for all players or can somebody tell me is there a one? Of course you can play these matches but seriously the edge is huge for betting company and because I am trying to find value it would be huge loss for me playing to betting companies what are taking big edge for themselves. I am lucky to say in this case that I am not from U.S. 5Dimes has some tennismatches but I have no account at there but I do not believe odds are something like at companies I mentioned earlier.

For example odds for Nadal against Del Potro:
Pinnaclesports: -820 - +740
Bet365: -1200 - +600
So if I am playing Nadal ten times with 1 unit everytime and I win everytime I will win at Pinnaclesports 1,21 units and at Bet365 0,83 units and if I am playing Del Potro ten times with 1 unit I will win at Pinnaclesports 74 units when doing the same at Bet365 is 60 units so I am not so surprised if U.S. residents are not so into tennisbetting.

Thanks.

No plays with the ladies. In men I was thinking about Murray. His game should suit against Roddick but his leg was injured last week and I don't like to bet player like that. Yesterday he almost lost for Mathieu so I am not so sure about his condition.

N.Djokovic - R.Nadal -348 9/10
Rematch from the final of the previous tournament. Djokovic had his moments but Rafael was too strong. Pretty hard to believe this game would go otherwise. Of course it can go but I am maby most concerned when they met the first time on clay and Djokovic retired after Nadal won first two sets. After his retirement Djokovic said he was much better player and was controlling the game. Not so sure about that but is this Djokovic just so cocky or does he has a game to upset Nadal?

Thursday:

J.I.Chela - I.Ljubicic -204 6/10
Ljubicic played greatly against Nieminen and these players have not met over two years but head to head is 5-0 for Ljubicic. I would bet with bigger stake but Chela has also been playing nicely lately.

In Canas Robredo match I am not going to play against Canas but I am not going to play for him either. We know what happened in Indian Wells after he won Federer. Head to head is for Canas 3-1 but all games what Canas won were 2001 when Robredo was not so old, all on clay. The latest match was 2004 which Robredo won on grass. I think Canas wins but maby the value is on Robredo. Canas should have a small edge in playstyles.

Good Luck.

Hope1:

I do not mind it the way it is. Keep it an obscure sport....and I will keep getting a yield that greatly exceeds anything you can get in the typical American sports. It is difficult as it is for me as it is now, living in the US, to get optimal odds after the closure of Pinnacle and the fact that I do not have a chance to bet at BetFair, Expket or Centre.

I certainly would not want a rush on a shallow market like tennis. I do not mind if the vast majority of the posters focus on leagues where the yield is from 6-9%, whereas tennis can be in the teens.

p.s., you gave me great advice when I spoke to you in February. Thanks for the insights. :103631605 :103631605

Will R. Nadal Win Miami? Yes +120 4/10
This is getting to be little too risky because it is like 13 units in one match. Might have been better without betting Nadal to win Djokovic but what is done is done. Nadal has three matches left if he wants to win. Today against Djokovic he is strongly favoured. His next opponent will be Roddick or Murray. We saw at Indian Wells that Roddick has no game to hurt Nadal and I think Murray might have little better chances but he is not in 100% fit imo. In the final his opponent will be Canas, Chela, Ljubicic or Robredo. Robredo has no weapons to hurt Nadal and if Ljubicic hopes to beat Nadal this court should be much faster. Chela has beaten Nadal 2004 but that was when Nadal was a teenager. Chela might make Nadal to sweat but not really giving him any big problems. Canas will be little mystery. He propably falls before the final but it would really be intresting to see Nadal playing against Canas. I would favour clearly Nadal but not so sure how well Nadal is able to answer for Canas's first serves so personally I would like to see Nadal and Canas playing against each others but for this bets sake I don't. If Canas beats Robredo and Ljubicic beats Chela we might have a good serve returner who dominates the game against Ljubicic and I would favour Canas in this matchup.

nice write-up. I think Novak gives Nadal a tougher fight than last week. Novak has been playing fantastic tennis of late, and he just handled an in form lefty with ease in Lopez. Tall order to beat Nadal tho, especially given the surface and form......... i'm certainly rooting for you......

VAMOS NADAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very bad money management from me. I am keeping 10 unit lost maximum at one bet and now I lost 13. Have to give credit for Djokovic. He kept Nadal moving, came to the net succesfully and made Nadal to come to the net and that was maby the most important thing. When Nadal is running very much this made him tired. Djokovic was also bomming succesfully Nadal's backhand. This guy really made his homework after Indian Wells and played very aggressively. At the end of the match Nadal was starting to hear Rocky-music in his head but three break possibilities was not enough this time.

A.Murray - D.Djokovic -157 10/10
I think Djokovic will take this match three times out of four. I have seen both matches between these players and the last match was easy for Djokovic because Murray's leg but in their first meeting Murray took the first set and after that Djokovic found some rhythm and Murray had no weapons anymore. Djokovic is too aggressive player for Murrays defensive style and if Murray does not develope some new tactic against Djokovic I believe this will be over in two sets.

S.Williams - S.Peer +4,5 +108 3/10
Sharapova was not a real test for Williams but I believe Peer is and it is not impossible for Peer to make a surprise but I am carefully taking the handicap. Maby she is capable of taking a set at least. I think Williams is making a strong return but she is little too much overreated.

Great call on Ljubicic

for once i thought he is gonna fell from the heat in the second set :lolBIG: but he managed through. Believe it or not i played for him in live when he changed his raquet at 5-5
I think that Peer is a good pick for today because she has the ability to hit Serena.
Too bad you missed so much in Nadal though.

Good Luck...

Thanks guys and well done Furmanski. Very strong second set from Williams. Peer had two breakpoints at the start of the second set but did not manage in break and after that I think he lost the momentum. Very intresting to see the odds for Canas. I think he will be favoured but different thing is how much. My estimation is Canas beats Ljubicic at least three times out of five. Ljubicic is very strong mentally and when his opponents are not it is huge advantage for him. When somebody is breaking him, he is capable making an ace. It is like Ljubicic against Nieminen. The game was equal and it would have gone either ways but Ljubicic showed why people think he is mentally srong and Nieminen mentally weak. Canas is very strong mentally so no advantage in this for Ljubo. It will be very hard for Ljubicic to break Canas and Canas has shown how he can return serves.

I would have not imagined before the tourney I am betting 10/10 to both men's quarterfinals but I like the odds. Williams is simply killing her opponents and I think Henin has much bigger possibility than her odd tells but no way I am staking big against Serena right now.

G.Canas - I.Ljubicic -125 10/10
J.Henin - V.Williams +137 2/10

I'm taking Ljubicic because I don't think Willy will be able to break. I like Justine as well but she will have to serve well and keep the UE's down to a minimum.

Pretty low odds for Djokovic at the final. Would bet him but that whole stadium is rooting for Canas so not so sure about that, maby if his odds will rise some more but for now I will pass

B.Bryan/M.Bryan - D.Damm/L.Paes +186 2/10
R/R are leading head to head 3-0 all games played last year. At Sydney clear win for americans. At Australian Open they won in three set but had only two break balls (both used) when D/P had 10 break points (one used). At Shanghai they also had a tight match which included tiebreak at the third set. D/P have played together only from the start of the last year when Bryans have been playing together something like all their lives and D/P have been better and better all the time. Considering that +186 for D/P seems to be madness. Anyway D/P have not been playing very good on slower surfaces. When they have played together 70 matches, only 3 are played at clay and all lost so that is clear advantage for Bryans.
