PF, you are delusional if you think this only happened once. I remember watching the postgame interviews after the Steelers lost to the Pats in a playoff game by 3 points a few years ago. The Steeler being interviewed said "It seemed like they were in our huddle, they knew everything we were going to do". He had no idea what was going on as this was a few years before the cheating expose came out. And the Pats went on to win the SB.

Yeah ... In 2001, I remember Troy Brown taking a punt back to the house ... and then a blocked FG for a score ...

I wonder how the Pats knew the Steelers were going to punt .... I wonder how they figured out they were going for a FG.

They should have kept Seymour a little longer. Albert haynesworth was a waste of time and 5th round pick

I love these type of threads..... What people dont understand is that the Pats are rebuilding on the fly while other teams take a few years and top draft picks to do it. How many teams would take a 19-5 regular season record over the last 24 games during rebuilding years? They have one player on defense still on the roster from the 2007 team....

The Patriots must still be using cameras. I don't know how a team could give up the most yards per game and find themselves in first place in the AFC.

Maybe the pats are just that good....again

Cool, first place in the AFC East. How many playoff games will they win? The only AFC playoff team they match up well against is Houston.

They 100% cheated, doesn't mean they aren't great. However, there is no question videotaped the Rams walk-through before the SB

damn, forgot about this thread

yep, the Pats really do suck this year, great calls

as for cheating, 64-19 since spygate

I appreciate the haters though, making it possible to go 8-5-1 ATS and 4-1-1 ATS since their last SU loss

From the NFL's Constitution & Bylaws (article 9): "Any use by any club at any time, from the start to the finish of any game in which such club is a participant, of any communications or information-gathering equipment, other than Polaroid-type cameras or field telephones, shall be prohibited, including without limitation videotape machines, telephone tapping, or bugging devices, or any other form of electronic devices that might aid a team during the playing of a game."

What's their playoff record since spygate?

Irrelevent ! This present Patriot team is a complete re-do from those Championship teams. How many players are still playing from those great teams ? While other franchises take years to rebuild, the Patriots go 13-3 in a rebuilding year. Awesome accomplishment if you want my opinion ... and of course I'm sure you don't but I'm giving it to you anyway !:103631605

LOL yeah, an NFL team's playoff record is totally irrelevant.

Selective homerism.

What's the problem ? You seem to like avoiding questions that you have no answers for. Comparing two different teams playoffs records is of course irrelevent unless you actually think they are exactly the same teams.

BTW Is you answer for everything homerism or is your memory just that poor. Just yesterday you accused me of being a Packer homer. Now I'm a Patriots homer. Tomorrow I guess I'll be a Raider Homer right ?:ohno:

2-3, lost the SB on the most fortuitous play in super bowl history

and I guess that somehow mitigates the fact that they have won more games than anybody else, LMFAO

they probably covered more games than anybody too

"can't wait"

No idea what teams you are talking about. I am talking about the patriots and their merits. Saying their postseason record doesnt mean anything is laughable. After someone quotes their regular season record. Which means more - postseason wins or regular season wins?

Oh yeah, you're the belligerent guy from the Packers thread who followed me over here. Tight life you (removed personal attack)

I thought we were talking about playoff games?

They haven't won a playoff game since going 18-1.

They haven't won any playoff games and they were huge favorites in all of those IIRC. Ravens, Jets in Foxboro come to mind. "Covered more games than anybody too"

But I guess regular season success is enough for a Pats fan.

so you're talking about 3 years and two appearances in playoff games, with Brady missing 1 of those seasons and rehabbing a 2nd. They were a mediocre 10-6 during his rehab year, with no expectations of advancing far.

so essentially your argument is because the Jets upset the Patriots in the playoffs last year, that proves they have to cheat to succeed, everything else be damned. OK, whatever

I'll be here in January

so who was just talking about the post season? maybe you were

so I guess the regular season must be ignored by a Pats hater, for obvious reasons

the reason you only "recall" two games is because there were only two games

do you really think -3 makes you a huge favorite?

But will you be here in the middle of January, I say no if that defense doesn't improve.

And why are you guys still arguing if the Pats cheated?
They did, they paid their penalty, move on.

It's like arguing if Sammy Sosa corked that bat?
