Higher risk, higher reward, I suppose. But I would love to avoid the 10-15 teams. That equates to a HUGE deficit to makeup.

SSI -- Perhaps this would take way too much time, but it would be very interesting to see how this system worked last year.

Would that be possible? I'm assuming lines from last year's games are available somewhere (obviously there is some variation on baseball lines), but maybe it's worth a look...

Lines are on covers.com as well as results. would take some time to calculate though

you arent going to find alternate run lines from last year anywhere . unless someone here kept them.

all you can do is look and see who at least covered 1.5 on the road and what game they did it in.

i gave you a couple of divisions above. i have what game written down for those teams as well.

im not going thru last year.. i guess i would rather learn my lesson the hard way...

tomorrow KC has a payback of (+4.04) so at 2 units, thats a (+8.08) payback... so you would clear (+7.08)..... thats worth a shot in my book..

You could estimate the ARL based on the ML

i think another way to play this would to lay 1.5 in game 1 .

play road on the ML in game 2 enough for a profit .

ML on game 3 to then gain a profit if you have lost the first 2.

that way a 1 run win by your road team in game 2 or 3 is a winner and not a loser.

i wouldnt be so concerned with " huge payback " as i would be win winning every series .

Agree, that is why I am going ML if dog and only -1.5 if favorite is the roadie. I would prefer to avoid losing 7 units when the roadie goes 1-2 and wins by 1.

Sounds good. One thing I noticed when reviewing last year was that a lot of the two game series went loser loser. I am going to avoid them.
