ALABAMA -16.5
I believe Alabama is still the best team in the country, but I also believe the talent this year in college football is down across the entire bowl. Anything is possible this season. Alabama has played in some sluggish games this year and really has not played a ton of powerhouse teams. This is a game that is all about size and speed. Oklahoma is very small on defense and they just will not have the speed to keep up with Bama. When Oklahoma is on offense they really don’t have the best signal caller at QB and their offensive line is being shuffled tonight. The Alabama speed on defense will make it tough for them to move the ball tonight. You could say this is a down year for the SEC, but in reality they have a team playing in the national title game Monday night. Obviously the defenses have not dominated this year, but it goes back to what I said above about the overall talent level being down this year compared to the last few years. We were really spoiled with great college football players and teams over the last few years. Size, Speed, Strength and the primetime stage is for Bama tonight to prove they still are the most dominate team in all of college football. Take Alabama.
